Good lord i hope this comes to 4K! Love this film to death! The Blu-ray now is nice to have but it needs an updated transfer! 👊😁

4K would be great! Maybe they could also include the doc as well. Didn't Arrow do that with the Flash Gordon release? (Life after the Flash doc)

As long as the primary focus of the documentary is the making of Clue, and is mostly interviews with people who were involved in its production, this should be very entertaining. If it's mainly about the fans, I'll pass.

In terms of making of material, there was an interesting oral history published several years ago, interviewing much of the cast and crew.

The trailer shows that the film definitely has stuff with both cast & crew, as well as with fans. But I agree, hopefully the fan stuff amounts to like 5-10 minutes tops.

I've never purchased something from VS. Are they typically only available on their site?

The limited slipcovers are exclusive to their site (and maybe a couple other partner boutique sites), but the standard version without the slip will probably be on amazon and the like.

So excited to be getting this doc finally! Really glad it is getting the full treatment with nice slip as well. Hopefully this sells well for them. Get up on this, Clue fans!!

Also the VS slipcovers (in my limited experience) are REALLY good quality.

They really are. Super thick and always with either embossing or spot gloss.
This was a bit more than I wanted to pay for a doc, but why not? They are already about half gone (the slips that is, 513 remaining) and probably won't last too long as word gets out that is available.

Late add: noticing the listing doesn't mention embossed or spot gloss, maybe the partner labels aren't. No partner labels in my collection yet, so I can't say for sure if its the nice sturdy slips like VS or not. I would guess yes though.
Not positive when this went up for sale, but down to 381 already (just before midnight eastern)

Yeah, it's a bit more expensive than I would've liked, but I'm ok supporting the director in this case.

Also, if books are anyone's thing, there's a preorder for a making of Clue book coming out in November.

This movie was such a wild mystery as a kid and saw it a bunch of times. Such a good cast and they really went all out carving a creative story from a family board game. You just don't see dark PG movies like this anymore.
