I had contacted Shout about any possibile releases for Death Wish 3-5 any time soon. They replied there is no plans for the foreseeable future.

I think you guys expecting a little too much considering most of the participants in those films are no longer with us as well as even most of the behind-the-scenes people that's relevant, so I could see that just to put like maybe a historian commentary as the only extra isnt going to justify a double dip

Makes sense. If Shout can't load the others up with extras, none of them have a 'hook' for SE release, like the uncut version of Part 2. (Except Part 5, which is fullscreen DVD-only in the U.S., but Lionsgate doesn't seem to license stuff out.)

I have: Part 1: Paramount Steelbook, Part 2: Shout Factory SE, Parts 3, 4: MGM triple feature (also includes theatrical cut of Part 2), Part 5: Lionsgate DVD Action Pack Vol. 2 (w/ 7 other low-budget action movies on two discs). I'm good for now.

I recently watched the German BD of "Death Wish 5". That film is quite a bit better than I remember. As much as I love Charlie, he's completely mailing it in. But Michael Parks is absolutely incredible as the villain. Just an over the top, scenery-chewing tour de force of a performance. It's a really nasty, sadistic movie that's a lot of fun.

Anyone here able to comment on the audio on the German release from NSM? I have the Australian release from Umbrella, but I've always felt that the audio was mixed very quietly. Just wondring if it's an identical DTS-HD MA 1.0 track globally, or if there's a better option out there.

I've got the Death Wish 2 + 3 set from Australia's Umbrella. Is the PQ on the US Scorpion Releasing version of Death Wish 3 dramatically better? It's advertised as being a new 2k scan from an interpositive.
