That was 101 Films.
I traded in the original copy of Alien Nation at CEX after I got the replacement and got £3 back

As for Seeding Of A Ghost, I hope they come to their senses about replacements

Ouch! Just got this from amazon:

Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below was changed by the
supplier, and we need to provide you with a new estimated delivery date based on the
new release date:

"Anthropophagus [Blu-ray]"
Estimated arrival date: August 15 2017 - August 19 2017
Sheesh, thank goodness I'm in no rush for this.

As I was thinking of picking up Pieces anyway, this will work just as well as the old blu, in terms of getting the documentary.

That would be 101 then, as 88 came first and their name comes from 88mp/h from Back to the Future. They used to have a slogan or something about it, like going back to classics or something like that.

101 just popped up about a year after with random cheap blu Rays and DVDs of cult titles and other cheapies

Correct. The instructions for the torpedos were in Mandarin, they should have been in Cantonese.

wonder if anyone has reported a problem with the item to amazon - usually results in sales being suspended. don't know the procedure from there on in, but maybe they'd then return stock to the supplier, or something similar?

there's a review on there (from a verified purchase) that states the audio was wrong on their disc.
i did report the issue, i sent mine back after explaining the problem

ok. wonder, then, if it take multiple reports to cause a product to be removed from sale? if it's one person's report, or sporadic reports, it's potentially no different to any general flow of unsatisfactory orders being sent back.

Not at all. 101 did that god awful release of I Spit On Your Grave years ago long before 88 emerged.

Wow really? What did they do all those years in between that and their cult classic rebranding?

My order has arrived - Frogs and The Dead Next Door both have slips. Once Upon a Crime does not, but the entry on this site does not mention a slipcase for that release.
