Certainly for me it makes a blind buy much easier.

Is Night Train Murders new or just what BU used?
We think it must be the same transfer... we have done some work on it ourselves and we also have the original Italian track, a new 20 min interview with Irene Miracle, collector's booklet with an Aldo Lado interview and some other goodies on there!

We have been trying to track down someone involved with Dead of Winter who will give us an on-cam chat and it's fast becoming a losing battle sadly. We'll keep you posted!

Guys, can't wait for the American Ninja box set to release. I was wondering does the documentary include an interview with David Bradley?

Unfortunately not - we don't think he's been heard from in a long time either!

Thanks again.
I'd like to chime in and say you're doing a great job but I'm sure you are collectors too so must be aware that the majority of titles you release will be worthless if they get cut by the BBFC.

Fortunately they are far more sensible than during the dark days of Ferman so its unlikely any of these vintage classics should get cut but as most of them have been available uncut for a long time elsewhere , albeit on dvd only , few fans will want to return to a cut version even if its on Bluray.

I'm lapping up your product so far and its going great- well done people.
Any chance of Absurd?

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, considering they're on the verge of launching their Italian Collection.

Not sure we understand your point here. None of our titles have been cut by the BBFC. We already addressed Anthro and Emanuelle.

No chance of Absurd unless the rights untangle themselves.

@88 Films with the release of "Don't Go In The Woods" can we expect any of the other Don't Go In The "insert location here" slashers?

You have said that Anthro is not yet confirmed uncut by the BBFC.
And there are posts from members who won't pre-order until they know its uncut and I was just saying why that is.

I have Anthro uncut on dvd so even on Bluray I don't want a cut version.
Same goes for any of these movies.
But once its confirmed uncut you watch those pre-orders flood in.

The BBFC seem to use common sense that was lacking in other decades

According to the people on the internet he has a Facebook page, so if you're feeling particularly stalkerish...

Yes please!! I'm among those that (luckily) waited to order the film only to find out about the debacle. Bummed doesn't begin the describe the disappointment at the news. So.. there's plenty of us that would really appreciate a corrected release.

I would really love to see What Have You Done To Solange? on bluray. One of my favorite giallos of all time.

And some other suggestions would be, Gestapo's Last Orgy, All The Colors of The Dark, and 2019-After The Fall of New York.

I remember Michael Brooke, who freelances for Arrow and other companies, once saying that it was much more convenient and cheaper to do audio essays which are played over footage from the film than on-camera interviews. I personally also think that a critic or historian frequently gives better researched and more streamlined information than some cast / crew member. Of course this varies depending on the film and on the particular person being solicited for participation. I loved the audio essays on Arrow's releases of say, Black Sabbath (which compare the different versions of the film) and Thief (which explores the themes of the film, Mann's style and incorporates many anecdotes from the film's making)

The Cronenberg one on Shivers was also a very informative watch/listen They're also very nice because you can just tune out and listen rather than needing to watch.
