Has VS ever put out a "bad" disc? As in poor compression, bad audio, playback issues, etc. I can't think of any, and so far every disc I've gotten from them the past couple years has been fantastic. Can't say the same for bigger companies like Shout or Criterion.

They had to do a replacement scheme over the grade for Flesh for Frankenstein

I agree with you CrowKiller, there would be problems either way. I simply wanted to drop a bomb on the long rotation of shipping woes from a couple of folks. I find nearly everybody here to be entertaining (even you ) and I realize the buddy groups exist. Bottom line is I really enjoy learning from all of you here even if I don't post very often.

Beastmaster had replacement discs for some error, but they caught it real quick and it was basically a non-issue.

If they could get permission, it would be cool to see some VSMC reward slipcovers for out of print releases that never got a slipcover.

Having all the OG slips myself, this is why I am not spending any of my points, just in case....

Alley Cat was in the wrong aspect ratio.

It was, but no one knows for sure who got it wrong, Scorpion or VS

Was Alley Cat a remaster they did or one that was given to them by another studio?
Either way if these are the biggest issues, then good on VS for having the best QC in the business.

IIRC Don't Go in the Woods, one of their earliest releases, had bad compression, but they directly responded to the issue on the forum and since then haven't had any problems like that. I might be thinking of a different label that released the movie though.

EDIT: Yeah I was right. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...8#post10572808

I thought Olivia was disappointing with the muffled audio.

And also Murder Weapon. The worst sounding Blu-Ray, ever!

When you ordered or how many orders you placed during the sale doesn't determine when it will be shipped.

So glad I sold my Blood Hook slip a while ago. If they are going to release copies of the OOP slips, then I'll have to go through my collection and purge the money makers now...

I've been ordering direct from VS for almost 3 years now... I'm pretty sure the shipping order is random.

Subscribers always ship first... and within that pool of folks the order is random.

Next, if it was a sale... the Flash Pre-orders ship next... again within that pool of folks the order is random.

And then finally non-subscribers... and within that pool of folks the order is random.

So one month you might get your stuff earlier than others... another month you might wait until it feels like almost the end... and everyone else has gotten their stuff.

It's a crap shoot.

When it comes to the shipping order within your "pool"... everyone takes their turn in the barrel from time to time... I guess it's just Lisa67's month in the barrel...

We've all been there at one time or another.

Just remember... it could always be worse...

[Show spoiler]You could have ordered from Severin.
