I just got mine. I e-mailed them on September 1st, so I guess it took them almost two months to get them to Greece. So what should I be looking for on the new discs?

The audio on the originally disk was completely screwed, so now sounds okay.

Revenge of the Cybermen
Easiest spot for corrected disk is at end episode 1 in the credits the name of one of the actors is correctly spelled as Michael WISHER not incorrect WASHER.
They rebuilt the credits hence original spelling error.

There is though one remaining fault on the UK Revenge replacement disk as one of the new CGI effects is still missing (you can watch the episodes as broadcast or with new CGI).

This is only fixed on the US replacement disk.

I can’t see the BBC agreeing to do a 3rd round of replacements in the UK, especially as many people haven’t even received the existing replacements yet.

My replacement disc 5 arrived today (in Scotland). This is 10 weeks after the original replacement which fixed disc 3 but contained another incorrect disc 5.

The discs and booklet were fine, just box damage though -- not much recourse at this point unless there's someone who wants to unload the actual box/J-card and use binders/Amaray case?

Was there any kind of tracking number on the FedEx mailing label -- even if they aren't sending them to customers, FedEx usually notifies me of an incoming package -- seems odd to have Sign. Required and not tracking.

There were some identifying numbers but I don't think any of them were FedEx tracking codes. I was surprised as well. Once they actually sent it properly, it only took two days to arrive internationally.

I emailed them about 10 days ago to chase my discs, and they arrived on Thursday.

Two discs loose in a soaking wet brown paper envelope.

Good stuff, BBC.

Got mine a couple of days ago in the US. The replacement discs looks identical numbers and all. However, as previously noted, disc five does have a correction to an actors name in the ending credits on episode 1. The actors name shouldn't be spelled "MICHAEL WIAHER" and should be spelled "MICHAEL WISHER".

FedEx delivered a SECOND set of discs yesterday. I'm going to make sure these are corrected discs and then offer them to whomever is still waiting for copies. Gratis.

It's OOP - so you won't find a copy on Amazon UK. You might find a copy somewhere - but they're going for silly prices.

Also (as far as I am aware), it sold out/went OOP before the new discs were pressed, so, any copy you do get (at scalper prices) will have the old discs.

Which means getting new ones from the BBC.

I am still waiting for mine

Plus also if you buy on resale you won’t have the original proof of purchase so theoretically not eligible for the replacement programme.

Unless I've overdone the painkillers and am wildly hallucinating, mine finally turned up today. No paper sleeve but aside from a fingerprint on one disc no signs of damage.
