Hollow Gate (1988) is also suitable.

Also, as a bonus - included in those scans is a film we had to get signature authorization from Paramount to release the materials to us and we’re personally really invested in this one!
The 13th Floor (1988)?

Paramount Home Video (VHS)
They said they had four horror films in their plans, all from 1988.

Knocked something off the list of things I could have never imagined I'd buy in this life: a CreepTales cassette single...

I'm not familiar with either of these movies, but I took a chance on both of them. I haven't ordered anything from Culture Shock before. I am a sucker for a horror anthology though...

Still haven't ordered any of these Culture Shock titles yet, after the VS sale I'll probably order all 4 bundles.

I have both. Only watched Goodnight God Bless so far. It's not something I'd ever recommend to others, but I found it interesting enough and a little more professionally made than I expected (though to be fair, my expectations were very low). I watch a good bit of SOV stuff (not sure if this was SOV, or if video is just the only remaining source) and this was better than most of those.

Given the other threads you hang out in here, it's probably worth you taking a chance, but keep your expectations realistic.

I've ordered twice from them so far, but both times were pre-orders. So I can't really comment on their turn around time on a regular in-stock order. They did seem to get things shipped out fairly quick on the pre-order once they finally had the product and started shipping.

1980s slashers. My favourite sub genre.

Looking forward to seeing what they announce.

In NIGHT RIPPER a masked killer named “Ripper” stalks and kills off models in very disturbing ways. A local photographer gets involved as one of the models he’s photographed in the past becomes a victim.

If you’ve seen Jeff’s other film VICTIMS! you will surely like these and you know what you’re getting into. As a special treat for Seinfeld fans both films feature a young Larry “No Soup For You” Thomas and really showcase his acting chops.

Info on art, disc(s) specs and more will be released soon.

Remember when we had to get permisson from Paramount to access the film for a recent acquisition?

Well, this weekend we got the opportunity to sit down with the producer of that film to interview him for our upcoming Blu-ray!

It's our biggest title so far, and we can't wait to share it with you! Anyone recognize this man?
In the comments of social networks (Facebook, Instagram), they replied to users that it was horror and had never been on disc.

Paramount, biggest title... nothing comes to mind.

They also suggested 80s in the Facebook hashtags.

Looking at Paramount-distributed films in the 80s that would likely no longer be with Paramount, I've absolutely no idea what it could be, unless it turns out to be a TV movie?

And the Beverly Hills tag, Cult Films.

Suppose Paramount somehow acquired Fatal Games or something. The American Scream, Night Life AKA Grave Misdemeanors

Pretty sure they didn't license the film from Paramount. They've been pretty specific with their wording that they just got the materials for the restoration from Paramount.
