MVD is distributing, so it should be pretty easy to buy. I'm pretty sure Amazon will have it.

Here's the US VHS cover to the film; I always laughed at how Video City would come up with such lurid covers for lurid films, but they drew underwear on the naked people in the photo on the back cover. lastorgy.jpg

And then some of the other titles that Video City put out. Only one so far to hit Blu in the US is "SS Hell Camp" from Severin. I blurred out a bit of nudity on the back cover of that one. Video City, what a great sleazy VHS label back in the day. I recall Nazi Love Camp #27 had a brief hardcore moment.

Okay, I'm curious. What about the movie worked for you? I will admit that there were bits that were well shot and the story at a high level has potential. But at the end of the day, it was still pretty terrible.

Looks like 88 may release some of their Fortune Star titles in the US, given no one else like Criterion and Film Movement picked them up. Granted, some titles like Dragons Forever and the Operation Condors seem to be with Miramax/Paramount in the US and some were already put out by Criterion and Film Movement.

It would be great if they have US rights for THE AMSTERDAM KILL with Robert Mitchum, which is a Golden Harvest film that hasn't had a US release.
