Perhaps they won't translate it or dumb in down. I don't know if these are newly translated subtitles or not. This film would get an R rating, because of the language and themes.

Have you seen the other stuff Arrow releases? I seriously doubt they have any concern about it being "R rated." I do wonder if there will be new English sub translations though, because I've heard there are fan subs more accurate than any of the official releases so far (for ****ing Åmål specifically I mean; not sure about the others.)

Yeah some people in the thread talk about the 1080i/25fps masters and Amal got hit with the DNR stick.

So glad to have this finally announced after the tease they did a while back with that card for F**KING AMAL.

I'm enormously excited for this set. LILJA 4-EVER is one of my favorite arthouse films of the 00s. I bought the UK DVD and also the Swedish DVD to get the included soundtrack album.

As far as I know, the only US release of LILJA 4-EVER up to now was a DVD pressed exclusively for Netflix rental. There was never a commercially available US DVD or BD.

I will keep it because it has Norwegian subtitles. + i only want ****ING ÅMÅL and not the others.
