Yep! Dani Manning’s illustrations are on a clear acetate over the box. I’m currently putting the finishing touches on everything. It’s been a marathon... Sister Hyde Design started the project, I’m finishing it, and it’s so nice to see it finally announced. And after The Game, I wasn’t expecting to design another 200-page book, but [Jeff Goldblum voice] “Well, there it is.”

That's why I'll be hoping for a standard release. We Are The Best is the next best film in the set (that i've seen) but i already own that blu

If the trailer they have posted for F**king Åmål is any indication, they seem to be using the same heavily DNR'd master that was used for the Scandinavian blu-ray. Really disappointing if that is the case.

Not much they can do if it's approved by both the director and the DP. They can't exactly supercede them in that case.

Supposedly, the Swedish Film Institute created two masters. One DCP master with the grain intact, and one DNR'd version for streaming. I don't see why the director and DP wouldn't approve a blu-ray transfer made from the DCP master.

F**king Åmål was shot 16mm, I remember even the ancient DVD looking super grainy.

I guess people were terrified the vintage grain would freak people out in the HD era and chose to scrub it all away.

I hope there's still time for Arrow to make the right choice and provide an unmolested version of the film.

Best person to reach out to would be James Flower, who worked on the release for years

Oh actually, he did respond to someone asking about that, and said it will be full of thick, gorgeous grain!

I've seen 4 of his films and I'd rank Lilya 4-ever third after F*cking Amal and We Are the Best!. The second two aren't nearly as heavy as Lilya, but Amal's very charming and We Are the Best! is very realistic as well as charming.

Zavvi.ca weirdly has two separate listings for this collection with a price difference of $25 CAD between them. I can only assume this is a mistake? Anybody else notice this?

One is probably the US version, the other is probably the UK import.

Ah, nailed it. You're right—the cheaper one is Region A, the more expensive one is Region B.

Have only seen Show Me Love from the films in this set.

Considering picking up this set as I did enjoy Show Me Love and would like to explore more of the work of Lukas Moodysson.

Has anyone seen more of the films in here? Just wondering if they are similar in the sense that if you enjoyed one you probably would get something from all of them. Or if he is one of those whose work is quite different?

£55 is quite a lot but the set looks good so interested in the opinion of anyone that has seen some or all of the films here.

If all the films are as good if not better than Show Me Love it will definitely be a pickup for me!

Lilya 4-Ever is an incredible movie. It's really dark and depressing, though, nothing like Show Me Love.
