All 3 formats would be fine to offer consumers, but surely Sony/Warner wouldn’t be that stupid to not make UHD for this

Why are you comparing a popular teen show to a popular SUPERNATURAL ZOMBIE SHOW ? Teen shows rarely gets Blu-Ray releases because they do not sell as well as adventure, superhero, horror, supernatural ect.. shows. This is no doubt getting a Blu-Ray and 4K Blu-Ray release. This show is HBO’s 3rd biggest hit in 13 years. It only trail GOT franchise right now.

Actually The Last of Us is HBO like GoT and HotD Also the other is a teen show that never really Got Blu-Ray releases even before streaming days took over. The Last of Us is a typical show getting released on Blu-Ray not to mention this show will be HBO’s biggest show next to HotD.

It's not a teen show lol. At leas that's not the target audience. It's also HBO in addition to HBO Max, so.

Honestly, I have not played this game! But since gamers loved it very much, I am now waiting for this series too. I will probably call my friends who played this game, we will buy snacks and watch this series on soap today! Where will you watch the premiere? With friends at the cinema or on the site?

Well I've been watching on HBO max, but when the physical release comes I will watch on my couch with some really good food haha.

Are we still sure this will be a Warner release ? I ask because Sony is releasing the soundtrack and Sony is producing the show. Does Warner own the show now because it is now distributed and shown on HBO ?

Pieter say its gonna be a Warner release. I hope he is right and his sources are right about it. You cant really count on Sony.

HBO Max, to be fair, but still... they're among the few recent HBO shows I can think of that were produced by an outside studio, like The Last of Us.

Anybody can update the database.

It'll most likely be Warner/HBO, but considering the cases I mentioned above, there's a chance it'll be Sony.

If its Warner HBO like Pieter and his source say. its a sure thing also a 4K Blu-Ray relesse as well. If it were Sony also pretty much a sure thing i think with how Big a hit this show has become. But a 4K release not. This is why i am glad its likely gonna be a Warner HBO release because they are gonna do a 4K Blu-Ray set as well like they do for House of the Dragon Westworld Got 4K releases 2 and it wasn’t such a Big hit. These 2 shows now are their biggest hits that can come close to Game of Thrones.
