Didn't see this posted anywhere else...DVDTown announced Predator 2's US release for June 9th.

20th Century Fox will bring PREDATOR 2 to Blu-ray high-definition with a Special Edition release on June 9 (SRP $34.99). The sequel to 1987's popular Predator stars Danny Glover, Gary Busey, Rubén Blades, Maria Conchita Alonso, Bill Paxton, Robert Davi, Adam Baldwin, Kent McCord, Morton Downey Jr, and the late Kevin Peter Hall, who again portrays the menacing character in the title role.

sweetness! we are gonna pick this up. we have the uk release, but we seem to be the only ones to have problems with the disc. It had lip sync problems on ours throughout the whole thing, but looked great, and we will double F'ing dip hahahaa.

I'm still holding out for the Alien/Predator set. It was just released on DVD back in November and had all 4 Alien movies, both Predators, and both AVPs.

I have a feeling this will probably be released before the Alien movies are released individually. Or, at the very least, and Alien boxset.

It won't be. Like Predator and Commando Fox uses the same encode worldwide. It will be indistinguishable from the U.K. release except MAYBE in some special features (and the U.K. version had a bunch a features).
