It appears DMI did a small reset a few days ago. Some items I noticed gone or returned, others I didn't notice until I went through the list in detail but easily could have changed a while back.

Here are some that appear to have been pulled with stock remaining -- more than the listed RF so these 95% chance will be back at some point
Raya and the Last Dragon 4k Blu-ray Combo Pack + Digital Code 1250
Turning Red 4K Blu-ray Combo Pack + Digital Code 1150
Turning Red Blu-ray Combo Pack + Digital Code - Canada 1150

The cycles of life.

My wife and I were talking about Burgers specifically the otehr day (she's an ex-McD employee from the 70's probably so is very clued in) about change in size. I remember when a Big Mac or Whopper and Quarter Pounder was a huge extra sized item and the largest you could get at a fast food place. Sitdown restaurant might have a Deluxe 1/3 pound burger than often got shared. The original std 1.6 oz or 3 oz BK or McD burger (15-18 cents when I was a kid) is now a Kids or Junior Burger or possibly too small to even be that. The same goes for most soft drinks - a regular soft drink in the 60-70's was no more than 8 oz and usually just 6 (just remember those small Coke bottles and when 12 oz was masssive).

I think the original Wendy's single was 1/4 lb or a bit larger -- at least by the time they made it to my area The current double, triple or 1lb Burger just didn't even exist.

My Return of the Jedi and Little Mermaid posters were delivered today. Aside from some edge damage on ROTJ they both look really nice. I think that ROTJ poster is one of the best rewards in the history of DMI.

The 20 point Little Mermaid cards I'm surprised say in the fine print "Limit one code redemption per account." I remember the Winter reward cards saying "Limit 5 per account." Sorry to DMI for ordering two rewards in the same day . I'll only use one I guess.

I keep meaning to write about how I did get audited, but no points were taken away, knock on wood. I got the return label for my demolished Mandalorian poster on Friday and then on Monday I got the same audit email as Flamedliquid minus the sentence about points being taken away. The replacement Mandalorian poster shipped via UPS was in worse shape than the one I had to send back. Same story as PainKiller007 except I just gave up instead of trying to get it replaced again.

Either way, you got a free working blu-ray, digital copy, and 200 DMI points (refund instead of replacement because they already sold out weeks ago).
Yeah, it skipped on a few parts. The blu-Ray was undamaged thankfully. It had circular scratches from rubbing on the underneath disc. I’ve read about this problem but this is the first disc I’ve had with it.

If you aren’t going to take the chance in redeeming that 2nd code (even though others have said it works)… ummmm… I’d be happy to help in relieving you of the burden of having it sitting around taunting you.

I've read references to a single manufacturing plant in Mexico, although I don't know if that just affects certain studios if true. I'd have hoped the damage was just cosmetic -- like when you get a disc with a cloudy or uneven reflective surface, that still plays fine -- if you hadn't already tested it.

Too bad it was the 4K disc and not the Blu-ray, assuming you have the equipment and weren't just future-proofing. Even if it comes back in stock, I guess you can't reorder it since your account will show it as claimed?

Unfortunately, that is all too true (thank the pandemic for that one) - One pressing plant for all of North America, and the QA for them is next to non-existent. Besides the fact that the coating used is a cheaper alternative (for both BD and 4k), it is pretty much a crap shoot for most of the studios. As for me, I have curtailed my purchases considerably (unless I feel like gambling on the degree of scraping damage), the only exceptions being Paramount, who uses the German pressing plant for their A-list stuff, and Arrow. Until another plant comes back online, we are all kinda stuck playing the "scratch roulette" game...

Heads up to poster collectors. AMC is giving away full spider-verse 2 posters till they are gone when you see it. Not a tiny poster. Full size real posters!

Pretty big size.

Yikes! That's scary on all counts: one (QC-free) factory for all almost all the studios, and they actually changed the coating? I would have thought the BR/4K "formula" was part of the original format standard. Or at least, that they couldn't be bothered to formulate an alternative just to save a few pennies per disc.

It'll definitely make me reconsider redeeming physical media rewards from DMI in the short term, if I'm ever on the fence about using points for something else.

I heard the same but haven’t had a problem until now. I do have a 4k player and tv and buy mostly 4k movies now. I’m not sure that I won’t be able to reorder if it comes back? But if able I will have to think about if I want to take the chance.

Yeah, it sucks they reduced to just one disc replication plant, and even just 2 packaging plants (one for standard releases/packaging and one for special packaging like steelbooks). However, the pandemic didn't cause it, they were already planning to shutdown the other plants. The pandemic just hastened it. Luckily Paramount went to a German disc plant during the pandemic and so far have kept using them for their North America releases.

I was thinking of the "Limit: 1" that you crossed when you ordered it, that was (presumably) not reset when they manually refunded you. If and when it restocks, you may not even see it offered. Maybe just as well too, unless you really want the 4K version.

You’re right, I didn’t see the limit. I am happy with my free blu-ray. Best to let sleeping dogs lie or pandas in this case

Still think we should get double points for Fox films. Disney owns them now.

LOW STOCK WARNINGS

1 IG-11 Sixth Scale Figurine (1 every couple days -- still with RF 5 so I'd expect a few more to come back at some point)

10 Marvel Studios' Captain America: First Avenger Blu-ray + Digital Code

2 Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventure Payoff Poster (RF 50 so unlikely this is the last shot)

32 Disney's The Little Mermaid Pop! - Ursula -- a couple hundred of these have sold in the last few days so I don't expect this to last a lot longer. The others aren't selling that fast, but such low numbers if anyone is interested it's time to go.

Chevalier and See How They Run as well. I believe they only don’t do Fox films (double points or regular points) for the R-Rated ones.

Edit: jk, just realized Boogeyman is only PG-13. Maybe because it’s horror? Idk why not otherwise.
