Whats up basketball fiends!

i know a lot of you are in football mode but we are about a month out from NBA season starting and i want to start locking up spots for both leagues. Blu Ray League as well as my other league some of you have joined in the past.

Details are as follows and drop a line in this forum or send me a PM if you would like to reserve a spot.

Season starts October 19th and we will set a draft date once leagues are full.

DRAFT DATE: SUNDAY, October 17th @ 8:30pm EST

$25 Buy In

1st Place - $150
2nd Place - $50
Best Regular Season Record - $50

Draft date for will be either Sunday, October 17th or Monday the 18th. We did 8:15 EST last year. Let me know if that works for everyone again.

i'm going to go with Sunday for now but if that is an issue for people let me know.

im waiting to hear from Czar, Midway and l.turner. they have all been playing for years, Czar created the damn league, so i expect them to be back, just havent heard from them yet.

that being said, i have someone who was looking to join the league. we need 1 more to make it a 12 man league. if anyone knows anyone, they are welcome. i will try and fill the spot as well.

Sunday works for me. I’m the odd man out in a different time zone so Monday is no good.

l.turner is out this year for both leagues....

so, The Nice Guy will be taking his spot in the blu ray league.. still waiting to hear from Czar and Midway.

As someone who had Luka last season, he was great with exception of his terrible FT%. I had no idea he was that bad.

I'm not entirely sure about picking Lillard in the first round, but my problem for the past two seasons has always been a lack of scoring and inefficient FT%. Would have preferred to get Steph but I knew he'd be gone by my turn. I definitely would have picked Giannis if I was 6th or lower. Real happy I managed to get Gafford and Stewart, though. Along with Vooch, I now shouln't have to worry about the center position.

Yea that's why i didn't get the hype. Horrible FT's and low steal/blks.

Greek Freak was definitely top 5. Higher if you punt FT's.

Giannis finished 17th last year....22nd year before...hes got the same issues as Luka, FT%, with the addition of no 3's

granted, Luka finished well below 17th, so, we'll see how it works out...

He's top 5 if you punt FT'S. No 3's but he'll get you stls/blks which are more valuable.

I'm not gonna complain. He's playing great today

we'll see how it works out for me but i can tell ya right now, im not ecstatic about my #1 draft picks....

I miss an old Yahoo Fantasy feature where you could announce you want to trade someone on your roster and make it known to the league so offers could come in. Not sure why that disappeared.

Not sure about this league, but the other one rarely makes any trades.

you could still do this. It's found in "trading block" under the "league" tab. You could only find it on the yahoo website though as it's not in the app.

agreed. i have had this argument with people here in years past who did/do not see a problem with it at all.

I don't have a problem with it. Better to be active till the end than have people give up a month before the playoffs and not set their lines.

haha, well i certainly dont see how those are interchangeable issues... they are BOTH a problem in my opinion.
