Default Celebrity Deathmatch: Google Play vs Amazon Instant

With Studio support for Amazon Instant Video seemingly disappearing (via redeemable codes) while Google Play is still seeing some Studio support I'm curious if anyone uses either of these services to any extent?

Personally I only have about 9 AIV items and 6 Google Play items while my iTunes and UV libraries are 300+ titles each.

Interested in what others thoughts are on these two players themselves so let's have a throwdown - Google Play vs Amazon Instant in our own Celebrity Deathmatch

If Google Play became UV compatible so I could bring my existing UV library over I'd invest more in a library there. I'm hoping they do this.

If these were the only two choices for redeeming a certain code I personally would probably go with Amazon since the movie can be played on more things. That said if any other choices were available (UV or iTunes) I'd likely choose neither.

We use amazon instant since we are prime members and its available on my Roku but, as far as movie purchases I wouldn't consider anything that isn't UV since that is the only one that works on most platforms.

I'm hoping that Google Play might go UV at some point as well...I've got a substantial amount of Google Play credit and have run out of apps to spend it on so have been watching for decent sales.

It's unfortunate that Google Play seems to have one of the worst interfaces for finding deals...you should really be able to set whether you want to see rental prices at all (I don't) - I hate having to click on most titles just to see what the purchase price is

I'm surprised that there is no Google Play sub-forum as well considering some studios do offer it as an option...

Meh. If a gun was put to my head I would pick Amazon since I have prime. Neither being UV compatible is a negative for both.
