Default Google Play - Summer Kickoff

Google Play - Summer Kickoff

https://play.google.com/store/movies..._summerkickoff

...some as low as $3.99 in HD like:
Hannibal Rising (HD) - $3.99
Hoodwinked! (HD) - $3.99
The Protector (HD) - $3.99

Wish Google Play was UV compatible :/

Default Google Play - Cool Car Flicks to Own from $3.99

Google Play - Cool Car Flicks to Own from $3.99

Looks like about 16 $3.99 titles in HD including:
  • The Courier
  • Deathproof
  • IP Man
  • IP Man 2
  • Interview with a Hitman
  • The Wrath of Vraja
  • Clerks 2

...and more

https://play.google.com/store/movies...44_fathers_day

Would have been nice if both Death Proof and Planet Terror had been offered and definitely tempted to pickup IP Man 1 & 2 since I have Google Play credit sitting in my account.

Any other reasonable priced and memorable titles on the list?

Now why would Google want to do that when it is quite likely Google Play will end up being the UV killer.

Google will not be joining the UV consortium. Much like Apple and Amazon, this is basically Google's play at a standalone video store for their Android system.

Actually, more like a digital media store. Google just bought a streaming music service company.

The digital media battle has begun between Amazon, Google and iTunes.

That would be horrible for the consumer, I hope and think you are wrong.

I have a nice collection thanks to some good sales and freebies, hard to pass up some of these HD movies at $4. Combined with Chromecast, I can watch them on my TV.
