Holy shit, so these are a thing! This is literally a bunch of titles I was saying just the other day I hoped MoC would get.

Definitely down for Christine, Body Double, The Lady from Shanghai, Fat City, The Last Detail and The Anderson Tapes, and will eventually have to get Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, 10 Rillington Place, Bunny Lake is Missing and Experiment in Terror!

So happy these are on their way, though! Love that cover for Christine already. I wonder who will be authoring/QC-ing these? This could be as exciting as when Signal One popped up last year!

The titles on their website shop so far all have extensive extras.

Edit: actually 3 of the 5 do, but it looks as though the other 2 have very scant details so I'd guess that extras will be added at some point.

I've added listings for the titles announced so far, by the way, so if anyone was thinking of doing the same you don't need to!

Have to say I'm VERY excited about these. Christine and Body Double out in October a week before my birthday, and The Last Detail in December in time for Christmas! Cannot wait!

Where is the extras info for these releases? Their website shows NOTHING except the list quoted in first post of this thread.

Pasting my reply from MoC thread here, it seems like Nick Wrigley must has something to do with this!

They WERE detailed on each product's specific page in the shop, but it looks as though they've now been taken down and there are now no products in the shop.

Basically, Christine, Body Double and 10 Rillington Place all had extensive extras listed. The other two had none listed, but the product details looked incomplete so I'd guess that they'll have extras too eventually.

Pretty solid selection there, definitely (cash flow permitting) picking up five of them day one. To Sir With Love, never thought that would get a UK Blu-ray release. Glad to be proven wrong.

Four releases a month? I'll never keep up.

Before all the info was wiped, I noticed that the MSRP for each title was £15.95. Not too bad especially with store discounts and judging from the cover art they seem to use Scanavo cases like Criterion. I'm gonna check out my browser cache to see if I can retrieve the pictures.

Amazon.co.uk has details of the first three releases:

Isolated score track
Original theatrical trailer
New and improved English subtitles for the deaf and hard-of-hearing

Dual format edition
Body Double:
Quote:

The Setup (17 mins): an examination of the plot
The Mystery (12 mins): Melanie Griffith discusses her nude scenes and De Palma's shyness
The Controversy (6 mins): the cast and crew discuss the film's critical slating

Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious, but a lot of these are Twilight Time releases in the USA, are they not? Is this new company somehow linked with TT?

Very exiting news for us Brits, all the same. Some great titles listed there.

Body Double entirely makes up for Arrow's delay with Raising Cain, and it looks like Christine will be out before Second Sight's Assault on Precinct 13. This is going to be a good few months, assuming I can actually afford all of these! I definitely want at least half of these ASAP...

Yeah, £15.99 is not bad at all. About the same as Arrow's standard price (on their own store) or Criterion (after 10% from Zoom or elsewhere). As some have said, it could turn out to be even less from HMV or Amazon, especially if they show up in a 2 for £25 offer like many Eureka/Arrow/StudioCanal titles do.

Can't believe they just crossed about 10 titles off my wishlist in one fell swoop. If they play this right, they could immediately be my new favourite label alongside Signal One (who are admirable in their insistence on keeping things simple and stripped back). I wonder if it'll just be Sony titles for the most part, or they'll branch out to other labels. Currently, most UK labels have only dabbled with Fox/MGM and occasionally Universal, with Eureka setting up deals with Paramount/Sony and BFI being the only ones who have managed to do a few Warner Bros.

I wonder how many of the rest of my Sony wishlist will be fulfilled: The Last Detail, Body Double, The Passenger, Sex Lies & Videotape, Images, The Swimmer, Fat City, The Big Heat, Christine, The Anderson Tapes, California Split, Adaptation, Hard Times, The Lady from Shanghai, Birdy, Manhattan Murder Mystery, Papillon, Starman, Our Man in Havana, Casualties of War, Fail-Safe, Experiment in Terror, Ishtar, The Age of Innocence, His Girl Friday, The Front, Jabberwocky, Used Cars, Two Rode Together, Single White Female, Husbands and Wives, All the Real Girls, Heavy Metal, Donnie Brasco, Bunny Lake is Missing, Stripes, Bell Book and Candle, All the King's Men...
