It was the PS4 version, did not pop up in test, didn't work at the service counter either, and they wouldn't do it, even though the cartwheel app clearly states ALL 2.0, if I find any different sets that I'm looking for will try again.

Discount wouldn't come up for me either when they scanned my cartwheel today, but I told him the discount stated 2.0 and starter kits, and he read it carefully and saw no exclusions, so he manually keyed in the discount. There was another employee there with him, and neither found any reason to deny me. So I picked up both marvel superheroes and toy box with stitch and Merida starters for PS4. I think around $11 total.

So sad to see this go. The game was okay but I loved collecting the figures to put on top of my Disney movie collection. The figures look great and all go really well together.

I saw that Best Buy, at least online, has the 3.0 SW saga bundle for $70, and the Disney store for $60 for PS4. Good price that I should jump on, or wait for potential further price drops?

In my opinion those are pretty good deals on the saga bundle.

I can't say for sure either way if it will drop further in price later, but overall I think you'd be getting a good deal.

Also, if you are a member of Best Buy's gamer's club, you would get 20% off of the purchase of this set, so if it's $70 to begin with, then with that membership it would be $56 before tax.

Yeah, it was seeming like a good deal, so I placed an order last night for store pickup. Wasn't a gamer's club member, but as soon as I put it in my cart, a pop-up offered that $56 price if I added the $30 gamer's club to my cart. Which I did.

Feels like I should make up the rest of that membership cost without too much trouble.

Now I've just gotta grab another controller, so my brother can join in too. Know of any good deals on PS4 controllers? Could I use the 20% discount on a controller, or only games?

GCU discount works only on games and toys to life figures, which includes Disney Infinity figures.

I think it will go cheaper on clearance. It has been cheaper during the holidays. With the cancellation, I would hold out. I'm waiting for the 3.0 figures I am missing to hit the 5 dollar mark.

Best Buy has a deal for a free select figure with purchase of the 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds playset for $30. Decent deal? Has anyone played it?

Online, looked like a decent selection to choose from for free figure, mostly Marvel (Nick Fury, Spider-man with black costume, Venom, Hawkeye, Thor, Vision, Hulkbuster, etc). Some newer, non-Marvel figures, like Alice and Time. I think maybe some Guardians of the Galaxy characters.

With GCU, its $24 for the set. I guess looking at it from the standpoint of getting two figures (Captain America plus free figure), that's a decent price.

But yeah I think with news of it closing down, we'll see a bunch of price drops more and more frequently then as time goes on.

Xmas '15 I got the Marvel 2.0 starter set for 9.99 on clearance at Walmart; so I would assume we'll see huge drops on these down the road.

the Battlegrounds set has hit 19.99 a couple times (15.99 with GCU) so it'd be like $9 for just the figure if that price point were to pop up again more frequently in the future.
Though if using it for a newer figure that may be a bit more, it might even all out then
