Awesome, pre-ordered them already when they were both announced but that's the sweet spot. I still can't understand why Krampus 4k is still 46$! That's an abysmal price and it's bad everywhere else too. I figured that like the Halloween 4k and all the other scream factory 4k it would go down in price but nope, so weird.

Krampus 4K is $32.97 at Sunrise if you can find a copy.

Lost cause at Sunrise. Been on their waiting list for this for a while.
Went to a couple of Sunrise prior and during holidays and asked for Krampus and Invasion of Body Snatchers 4K and they never received them. They kept putting the blame on Unobstructed View.

Yup. I've been on the Sunrise waiting list for IotBS 4K since around the official release date. What is particularly bad is that that title was featured in Sunrise's big flyer for the week of November 19th-25th. Available November 23, it was so exclaimed! Uh huh, sure. Perhaps they meant November 23, 2022.

My Sunrise had Krampus on release date. 2 copies to which I grabbed one first thing in the morning at opening. I can see how a restock would take forever.

It's really too bad. I rarely buy from them and these are the the moments I would finally and they don't have what I want.

Would love to support them but can't do that if they don't have the products.

I can see that because the movies have to come from somewhere and UV is the only distributor of boutique labels.

Which is sad because sunrise has the most competitive prices for Kino/Arrow stuff. They have been my go to for ordering anything from those labels.

UV is not the Canadian Shout distributor. Another company got that contract last year. I asked the question a few months ago and someone replied to me, but I don't recall the company at the moment. The transition did not go smoothly and they've been incredibly late supplying retailers with Scream/Shout products.

That makes sense why WM/Amazon/BB gets the occasional Shout releases.

I had pre ordered Krampus 4K from Amazon even though the price was pretty high at the time, but it dropped down to $37 at one point and that's what stuck in my final order.

Always good to pre order with Amazon even if the price is too high because it's easy to cancel, and you just might win with a price glitch or error which happens more often than you think! You always pay it's lowest price between the pre order date and the release date.

However Amazon is also the worst for dropping the price of an item a day AFTER it's release, and you no longer qualify for it's "lowest price guarantee"

I'd bite at 66 if I didn't already have it. thats currently $3 cheaper than the regular 4k release at the time I purchased.

edit: and just for reference, the regular non-steelbook 4k set is currently $89 on .ca
