Default Need help with set up

Iím sorry if this is the wrong forum for this. I have a dilemma. I just ordered a new soundbar that will hook up to my TV using an HDMI ARC connection. I only have three HDMI ports on the back of my TV. I also have:
  • Fire Stick 4K (currently plugged in the HMDI ARC port)
  • PlayStation 5
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Xfinity box
So I will now have 5 things that need HDMI ports, so Iím short two. Any suggestions for something reasonably affordable that will work in connecting everything and it all working?? My brain is fried trying to make sense of it all. No I donít have a super elaborate home theater. But I would like for what I do have to work without a bunch of headache. Iíd appreciate any suggestions.

You will need a HDMI Switcher.

As Slimdude noted you'll need an HDMI switch. Be sure to buy one that is certified for HDMI 2.0 at a minimum (HDMI 2.1 is prefered) if your tv is 4k. If your tv is only 1080p, then any switch will work. Here's one that looks promising both in performance and in the build quality of the unit itself.

Plug your soundbar into the ARC channel on your tv. Plug your Xfinity box into one HDMI port and then plug the switch into the final tv port. The switch would then have the switch, PS5 and firestick all plugged into it.

I have a similar 1080p HDMI switch currently for my Xbox One, Ps4, and Switch since my receiver is one HDMI port short and I like the ease of having all systems under the "Games" input on the receiver and it works just fine.

be careful what you buy as the names switcher and splitter are thrown around a lot and they are different. Splitter takes an input signal and outputs 2 or more simultainisly and a switcher lets you select individual outputs.
