I tried for hours to get Munchlax to appear and gave up. I haven't touched the game in about a month. Way too many other games to play atm. I plan on coming back to the game later in the year though, I just need a break from it.

Yeah at this point I will probably just wait and get arceus in a different switch game

After HOURS of frustration -

Finally caught the weather trio, still stuck on Enamorus.
Munchlax finally spawned so that's 1 elusive Pokemon down.

Slowly starting to catch other Pokemon that I hadn't caught before due to making a concerted effort.

Also I learned yesterday that you can fill up a Pokemon's Pokedex entry by using it and that I can use Agile and Strong Style moves already lol. Oh well, at least I'm very close to the end and then I can put all these Pokemon in Home and wait for Violet to come out.

LOL used a stealth spray properly today for the first time and finally caught an elusive Abra. Guessing that's the key to catching ALL of the Pokemon who run away when they see you coming.

And for InuyashaCrusade - I caught the Munchlax in the Alabaster Icelands at that hot spring. I just kept going to the hot spring, wiping everything out then leaving and sleeping till morning. Took like 10 tries but a Munchlax finally spawned.

Apparently there's 242 Pokemon in Arceus and I've only seen 208. Haven't even caught 200 yet so when it says I[m close to completing the Pokedex it's clearly lying lol.

I had to use smoke bombs to sneak up on Enamorus from a distance was no other way to get even close without waiting a LONG time for it to come by the grass.

Sounds like a plan. I always wonder why they make things THAT difficult lol. Especially in games for children, if video game veterans like us who also have reasoning beyond that of a child become this annoyed, I have to imagine stuff like that makes children either give up or sell the game or both. Will craft some smoke bombs tomorrow and then finally get enamorus. Not sure how long it's going to take me to catch or evolve all the Pokemon. Probably won't get done till this weekend but at least I'll have an Arceus to show for it before I get the next Pokemon game.

Well for years fans have all but begged for a harder difficulty on Pokemon games and it seems like Gamefreak listened. I'd still prefer this over handholding levels of easiness.
