Hammer Box 5 should be... Pirates of Blood River, The Devil Ship Pirates, The Scarlet Blade, and Sword of Sherwood Forest. I already have Blood River and Sherwood from Twilight Time. The only Columbia Hammer left is ...Creatures the World Forgot.

Not my understanding of the situation. At the beginning of this year it was cited as a possible but that changed more or less as soon as Volume 3 was announced. I'm happy to wait on technical improvements and catch up on the upcoming releases.

Unfortunately, The Scarlet Blade and Devil Ship Pirates are with Studio Canal here, along with Brigand of Kandahar. Unless Indicator wish to tackle comedy, in terms of Sony Hammer films this would essentially leave (not counting the mooted fourth Horror-y volume I outlined above):

Creatures the World Forgot
The Pirates of Blood River
Passport to China
Sword of Sherwood Forest

So any potential fifth Hammer set is certainly looking like a decidedly mixed bag (I can't wait to see what name they come up with - something like 'Adventure and Wonder' maybe) unless they have an ace up their sleeve.

I'd be very happy with that, to be honest.

They could call it Adventures in History or some such.

So are we all now hoping for some sort of Black Friday sale? Anyone from Powerhouse want to give us some hope?

What was the issue with Fat Ciy? Something with the extras? I can't remember if I looked up whether mine had any problems. If it's just some extra thing I won't care enough to bother with it.

I have zero expectation. I suppose you could make an argument that Zavvi and Amazon reducing some of their prices recently is the precursor to a PH sale but I wouldn't bet on it.

The documentary cuts out halfway through on the blu. The DVD was fine though.

If you're referring to the Zavvi sale its 30% off when you buy two or more.

Given the titles reduced (older, nothing reputed to be nearly OOP), seems to me maybe more likely they were trying to shift some excess stock on hand.

Just finished watching The Wrong Box and noticed the picture seems to skip at 36:18 and then corrects itself at 36:21 - think it may have done something similar earlier in the film as well but don't have the timestamps at hand.

Is anyone else seeing this on their disc?

Anyone understand the reasoning behind ZAVVI breaking up orders into individual items when they both charge and ship?

Ordered Night of the Demon, William Castles Vol 1 and Harryhausen Vol 2 all in one order. They showed up on my card as separate transactions and all shipped separately.

One of the disc producers for the next Hammer set confirmed elsewhere that one of the movies is proving to be an extremely difficult project to complete. No titles but I would suggest this is a reference to The Damned with Indicator looking to include all 3 versions.

And Hammer set 4 was officially delayed until next year a few months ago when it took longer than expected to complete Volume 3.
