I ended up getting that Premium edition for Psycho-Pass' first season. I am not a big fan of swag usually but the included keychain is actually very nice. The ID holder is largely plastic garbage but the keychain is usable.

It hasn't come to Blu-ray so I settled for Zakuro on DVD. It's a premium NIS set and I was really impressed by the finish. Some of their premium cases have matte finishes but Zakuro has a very spiffy gloss finish to it, making the art pop.

That Bebop Amazon exclusive looks like the same packaging as Star Wars Clone Wars collector edition. Wasn't too impressed with it to be honest and agree with beat, the artwork is little lacking Funimation one looks excellent though.

I mean great for a company to actually do it but a bit disappointed as we know RS track record. Maybe this will be the franchise that will get them to start their foray into HD.

Has there been a blu ray release in Japan for any of the . hack series? I'll still be picking these up though hopefully a blu ray release comes in the future.

Not really surprised it's DVD-only. And G.U. Trilogy will be just like how my Bandai DVD is. So basically no need to upgrade my copy of the movie.

I know there was .hack//Quantum and The Movie which came as a PS3 Blu-ray Hybrid Pack which included a fighting game for .hack(Japan-only). But nothing else comes to mind.

Regarding the original Gundam and Turn A Gundam: Great news if Blu-ray sets are released. Then I will feel ecstatic. Otherwise, no buy and a missed opportunity for North America. I'll be left wanting to do custom Blu-ray editions then and that will feel very frustrating.

Just asked them on twitter about a blu release and they said it still needs to be determined and they'll announce formats at a later date.
