I just do not like the ratings stamps on the U.k set or on any other U.k Blu-ray for that matter, why do they have to put them on the front and again on the back ? and why do they have to be so big ?

It's the U.k nanny state where movies like The exorcist and The Texas chainsaw massacre were banned for so long without any good reason.

O.k rant over and it's time to get off my high horse,it's not my fault as he followed me into work this morning
I don't have any DVD's or Blu's with massive age ratings on them. I think they're blown up on some online images, or I live in some small corner where we get smaller rating labels.

excited that it's only 3 weeks to go. This was the announcement that was the catalyst that made me decide it was time to upgrade to Blu-Ray, I didn't even have a HDTV until a few mos ago but right afterwards I heard about Alien coming out and I knew it was the release that I knew would make me upgrade, much like the DVD was what made me upgrade to that in 1999.

Or third option, Excessively ask if it's region free.

Default Alien Anthology UK is most likely region free

As it appears someone reviewed UK edition and found that it is indeed region free.

More in this link:

http://www.bleedingcool.com/forums/s...hology-Box-Set

This might appease lot of people including myself who have pre-ordered UK edition.

$95 for all four movies. I am not a huge fan of them but I would not mind picking up the first movie if they ever come out individually.

This is my question. Does anyone know if they are also releasing individually? I'll be honest, I love the first two, hate 3 and think 4 is okay. I really could not care less about any of the extras. While I will buy the anthology if it's my only option, I would rather just buy Alien & Aliens by themselves, and pick up 3 & 4 sometime down the road.

I kind of think they wont sell them by themselves because 3 &4 wont sell many copies. I could be wrong.

If/when they eventually do sell them individually, they'll just be the movie discs.

Since the extra discs cover Alien/Aliens and Alien 3/Alien Resurrection.

True, the rating stamps are indeed an eyesore on UK packaging.
