No, it's region B locked with forced French subs (TF1 release).

Almost all the French TF1 release have forced subs, what an insult to the english speaking France residents.

I'm happy you mentionned that, as a francophone first I always thought the same thing, and there are quite a few english speaking French.

I would be so mad if FS was doing that to us in Quebec as I never watch movies in french or use subtitles.
Not to mention the movie was shoot in English and it's not meant to be in french or traduced.

Cheers,
Gui.

+ 1 to that Gui, I never listen to other audio tracks than the original language as do most real movie lovers, can't understand that unless it's really a law of some sort, and is so it's totally absurd.

Add to that the insult that the French track on this release is granted glorious DTS-Hd MA 5.1 whereas the English track is a measly Dolby Digital 5.1...

I didn't care to check on my releases since they're region B locked and have forced subs. I also almost own all the good one on amaray. (beside Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown, when will we get them released up here?)

I feel sorry for you my friend.

Cheers,
Gui.

Haha, don't be. Sold my version a long time ago and kept the German Steel.

I can play Blus from all over the world so I get very picky and import when I have to.

Guess this thread can now be closed?

Houston we have a problem!

I am actually experiencing the same problem right now watching my domestic copy of Inglourious Basterds...

It have english forced subs for the french dialogues and there's no way to turn them off beside playing the french track but then it have forced french subs for english dialogue... There's no way for someone bilingual to watch it without subtitles...

It must have happened to me before but since this movie takes place in France it's pretty annoying...
Oh, did I mentioned the subtitles are yellow and really distractive?

Kynch, Pentonic and any french speaking members you must feel my pain.

I just wanted to point it out, let's watch more Nazi killing.

Cheers,
Gui.
