United Kingdom Home Entertainment - Manchester 2010

Just got back in from The Manchester Show:

Official Website

It was pretty good, they had lots of manufactures there (see website for more details). Plenty to browse and drool over . I was able to take a few pics of the event (images aren't that clear, very hard to take photos in there, so many lights etc). I went to take a look at the Pioneer and B&W displays, disappointing was the B&W setup , they only had a pair of CM's, forgot the number now. Was looking forward to getting a glimpse of the 800 series diamonds . As for Pioneer, they had a great display, including the SC-LX90 aka SUSANO which is an absolute beast, its a huge thing!! .

Philip's caught my eye, their TV's were so nice. The ambilight feature is really impressive and better in person. Although they didn't have their 21:9 - 58PFL9955H, the other sets were fantastic, great finish to them. Samsungs Series 9 set was just beautiful, so thin! Great picture too. The Panasonic display had a 3D setup (they all did) which was playing Avatar. Must of just been a converted 2D version, didn't really get time to ask them. Denon had a nice display, lots of sets, but it was too dark in there to get any good pics of them. I am not really a huge fan of 3D at home, but what I saw today was impressive.
