It is one of the most underrated Muppet movies, imho. And Michael Caine does such a good job as Scrooge - he's one of my favorite Scrooges of all time.

I think it's far from underrated, if anything it's actually regarded as the best Muppet movie and even one of the best adaptations of A Christmas Carol, despite its comedic take on the original Dicken's novel.

Yea def my favorite Christmas movie. The Dvd doesnt look that bad and for me Blu Ray brings out the bad in movies that use puppets. Like yoda in star wars you notice every little detail. Id still buy it though esp if they make an awesome slip.

I want this on blu-ray so bad, and this is the time of year for it to be released. If it hasn't been announced by now, I guess I will have to hope for next year...

I think this one, The Muppet Movie, and The Great Muppet Caper are probably the three best ones. Yet we got Muppets from Space and The Muppets Take Manhattan as the first blu releases. Oh well, it's a start I guess!

The difference is the two that have been released were by Sony, but all the rest belong to Disney. I'm not sure how or why really, but it looks like Disney will be releasing a box set with all the Muppet movies when The Muppets comes out on blu in March. Great news indeed.

I hope the blu-ray included the "when love is gone" song. Was that literally not filmed in widescreen for the movie, or was disney just being a pain in the ass by not putting it on the widescreen version of the movie?

I've only ever seen the muppet christmas carol and muppet treasure island from that collection. I know I don't really like the muppets Chritsmas and probably wouldn't like the muppets wizard of oz, but I'd probably like the rest.

I really thought Disney would take advantage of the season and at least release MCC this year. I hope it does come to blu soon, its been such a long wait.

This is probably my favorite Muppet movie; I love almost everything about it. I haven't seen all the films, but I liked this one, and "Muppet Treasure Island", too.

That is great news! Now we need the rest of the Muppets seasons out as well!
