I love coming on to this forum and finding new releases being posted!

Does this mean we could expect more Hitchcock releases soon then?

It's from Paramount, should look indeed fabulous. Great news. Now if only we could get A Place in the Sun and Roman Holiday too!

Thanks for posting this information. Is the email available online somewhere? I'm curious about any information pertaining to the release of this title. Very nice of you to offer to update the thread.

That's one Hitchcock I've never seen, I'll look forward to making my first viewing a highly-defined one!

Like Chinatown, an exact release date is still TBC, but it will be coming in 2012 according to an email from Paramount themselves.

As you seem to have a good contact at Paramount, could you possibly ask them whether they will be releasing Rosemary's Baby, Nashville and The Parallax View on Blu next year? I'd really appreciate any info on these.

I've asked them and will let you know if I get a response, or post about them if they are getting a release.

Also be great to know if Witness is also in the pipeline. Definitely Peter Weirs best film and Harrison Ford's also (that includes Indy)

Do you have any info on whether more Hitchcock titles are being released in the near future?

I'm not sure that Paramount owns any other Hitchcock titles apart from To Catch A Thief. Most of the acknowledged masterpieces are with either Universal or Warner.

Which is too bad. I feel Paramount is far superior.
