Default Thought I would jump in, Its not much but we sure enjoy it

There is a lot more picture in my gallery. This space to me 9 months to get this far, and 4 of the month I was down with 2 different surgery. So really I have had 5 good months working on it. All of the work was completed by me and my very understanding wife. From heating, cooling, electrical, framing, ect ect ect....

I owe a great deal to this forum and a few of its members.....I can only hope I can help someone as I have been helped. I have gotten many of ideas from this sight.........PLEASE PLEASE....Forgive me if you see something that was your idea and I did not make mention of it.

Feel free comment or ask me any questions I will do my best to answer.
I do not have the construction folder in my gallery yet.....Do time

On to the before and after.....Remember there are many more pictures in my gallery

Thanks

HOLY SHIPOOPI!!! THAT LOOKS FANTASTIC!!!

I'm guessing that you are one of only a few people in the world who are thanking the gods for having to have surgery, eh?

P.S. You are being far too modest in saying that "it's not much." Give yourself a bit more credit than that.

Good luck with your paranormal activity 5 in your basement 2012 goals!

Just kidding it looks nice! Before it was haunted, now the ghosts are pleased with the new living arrangements.

Welcome to the Galleries 7miles,

It looks like plenty to me, excellent job, you have some nice equipment. I see a screen but no projector, is that in the future? I especially like the radios, see my gallery for the old gear I'm fond of.

Hey guys...Thanks for the great feedback on my space. I know the wife and I sure enjoyed building it. I do not think it would be half of what it is, if it wasn't for this site and the great folks on here.

dub2108.......Yes it does say 7Miles. That was I birthday gift from my 2nd oldest son, this year

bguzman.......As far as a projector goes....Just having a hard time deciding what one. I know I do not want 3d. I really enjoy my vintage radios, I have a about 20 more there just displayed else where in the house. I tell you I really like my vintage receivers and turntables, that is my real passion.

I just got my first projector about 8 months ago. I got an Epson 6500UB factory refurbished with full 2 year warranty from Visual Apex, and I'm amazed at how great the picture is. They have some pretty decent deals on several different models:

I found these two sites very helpful in my search:

Having a great projector in that room will be awesome. Good luck!

That is what I built it for. I think with my choices of colors it should all come together with a nice HD projector in there.

I still need to pick up a set of rear speakers, along with another sub
