Vangelis -- Blade Runner SACD from Audio Fidelity - Blu-ray Forum

Yes, you read that right.

Fresh off its release on translucent red vinyl (I wish I had space and time for a decent system to play it--looks and sounds gorgeous), Audio Fidelity have revealed that they will also issue Vangelis' Blade Runner on SACD shortly. Release date is not confirmed, but I'm seeing July or August. Mastered by Kevin Gray.

Available to pre-order here from Audio Fidelity, or here from Amazon.com.

Needless to say, I will be buying the hell out of this.

too bad the site doesn't state if it's 2 channel only or both 2 & multichannel. i'm very likely to pick this up. however, if HDTracks offers it at 88.2/24, i'll probably just buy that version.

either way, disc or download, i'll be buying it.

what SACD player are you using? i have a 2 channel setup and will be using my Oppo 83 for playback and analog out to Emotiva USP-1 pre-amp.
