I cancelled my Shout factory order for this one...
1. I love this movie.... 2. They will be the same 3. I despise double feature discs. I would rather have the single disc so i can put it in its proper place. 4. i already have battle creek brawl on blu ray |

I also can confirm that this is probably the FIRST Jackie Chan BD catalog release that's NOT an upscale!!!
I'm buying. |

Cool. Thanks! I thought that Operation Condor was HD too. But, some people were saying that it was an upscale. The image quality in these pictures looks really good. But, please don`t rush out and tell everyone that Fortune Star have real HD releases. Its going to ruin their reputation.
![]() ![]() ![]() I wonder if this is the same thing for the Shout Factory release? I would imagine so but can`t wait to see the reviews on it and see what people say. Too bad that I am not that big of a fan of this movie. Might just end up getting the US release that will also have The Big Brawl. |

I may have mentioned this in another thread before and I'm not 100% so don't hold me to it, but I think Fortune Star catalogue titles from the 90s and onward are not upscales; it's just everything before the 90s, which unfortunately also happens to be a lot.
Anyway, definitely grabbing this. It is a terrible movie, but I still have a soft spot for it. |

It is, but there's stuff which I thought was hilarious as a kid that isn't so much anymore. Recently I rewatched Future Cops (another all-star Street Fighter parody from Wong Jing) and it was downright bad, even though it was another favourite from my childhood.

But, edited all to hell. It surely is a lose-lose situation. One can purchase either the best pq with edits or lesser pq uncut. |

What I did during DVD era, buy/watch both. Mux in my mind, haha. It's too much work to physically combine the two with editing software.

Personally, I choose lesser PQ but uncut. Despite it's not HD, at least it's still watchable. It's not like it's VHS or something like that. While being cut truly ruin the whole movie. I don't like my movie being cut. I pay for it.
