Adding a title to the database? - Blu-ray Forum

I've looked around, but haven't seen it detailed anywhere...how does one go about submitting a title to be added to the database? This is in my collection, but there seems to be no way to post it: http://www.yesasia.com/us/the-magic-...0-en/info.html

It's obscure, but may be of interest to some, as the writer/director has had a few releases on disc in America (most notably Welcome Back, Mr. McDonald).

I think you would just have to fill out this form. If you don't have all of the info, just fill in the info you do have, and once someone who has the missing pieces come along, they can finish it.

What Prim said, but if you lose the link you just go to any Blu-ray profile and under the Price / Ratings and Popularity 'column' there are links to Add new country/edition (ie a new country edition for the movie you are loooking at) and Add new movie for adding a totally new title to the database movie.

Does this work for DVDs too? Or is this only an option for Blu-rays? I just added my collection, and the only thing missing from this site was a few seasons of a foreign show I own on DVD. Can I add these to the site as well?

Yes; go to any DVD (not Blu-ray) and Add new country/edition and Add new movie work the same way for DVDs.

I can't see the option "Add a new country edition". I'm a new forum member. Anybody can help me? I'd like to add the spanish edition of some movies.

Do you have any kind of adblock or scriptblock software enabled on your PC? They often block links.

It might just be that as a New Member you can't do this yet, IIRC you can't *start* new threads as a New Member rank either (which stops - or at least slows down - spammers and spambots joining and posting spam)... but as you will see from the Official Member Rank Thread in this forum you move from New Member to Junior Member on your 6th post so, if that is the problem, it won't be a problem for long!

I was wondering this myself. I've only recently joined and I see no links for adding movies/blus/dvds to the database, and I have quite a few UK dvds and some random movie titles that I'd like to contribute. Guess I'll go around the forum posting a few comments - see if you're correct. :-)

Pick a title from the above user's database that you want to own
What was the last Blu-ray you bought/watched
What was the last DVD you bought watched

threads would be good places for this

When you've moved up a level just click on the [Show spoiler] link in Evil's post above to see how it should look (if you hadn't already)...

Just so you know I've learned the no links and no pics in posts limitation is until you've made *10* posts so you have to be halfway through Junior Member... so this may be the same restriction number...

That suck's. I have to write ten comments to add a missing edition (groundhog day German).
And even 10 isn't the right number. Hey guys I would add the missing movies if someone could give the possibility to do so :-/
