Germany Death Machine

Wow it's finally happening. Death Machine on blu-ray!

http://www.schnittberichte.com/news.php?ID=9346

Looks great, blu-ray+dvd+soundtrack AND the longest version available.

on NSMs Facebook page wrote the boss: "Yes, this is a brand new HiDef transfer in 2.35: 1 This is the long version That was out in Germany on DVD before. (Which is identical to the Japanese laserdisc btw), not the * shorter * Director's Cut. Featuring Both English and German 5.1 audio tracks in DTS HD Master Audio on Blu-ray as well as DTS 2.0 Stereo. Plus Trailers and Easter Egg.

Let's all pray for good PQ/AQ

Over on medienhandel, it looks like it is (or will be) going for E29.99. Same thing over on DTM.at.

I will be. Medienhandel won't allow any sales until the street date, which will be Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 6:00:00 PM.

That's good to hear! I'll probably get my shipment from Medienhandel in a month or so. Any chance on seeing a few screen caps?

This may sound like a dumb question - but I am curious, considering I typically order from Amazon.de and this film is unavailable there...what's the safest site to order this from? I'm pretty skeptical of ordering outside of Amazon, Zavvi, Ebay, etc. Can anyone shed some light on this? I would love to have a copy of this film on blu - truly a guilty pleasure and will be my perfect double feature alongside HARDWARE.

Both medienhandel and DTM are very reliable. I've made about 5 large orders from medienhandel (from E650 to E1000) over an 18 month period of time and never had a problem. It took about 3 to 4 weeks for each package to arrive, but everything was in great shape and was packed very well.

The only subs listed were german; maybe someone who already owns it can confirm.

Apparently this doesn't have any subs, not even german ones. Big argument over that over in the german cinefacts bluray board.
So if you are not watching this with the german dub, you probably miss out.

This makes no sense!
We are in an american message board here. So everybody from america/uk wants the original english language track and understands it.
The blu ray has english audio! Where exactly is the problem??

The problem in my eyes is missing english subs for all foreign languages in the movie.

I never saw the movie, I wasn't aware that there were other spoken languages than english. If it's the case, the lack of subs really sucks

I made the mistake of getting the German Snowpiercer blu thinking it was all in English, but there although the majority is, there are vital scenes where subtitles are a must - unfortunately German subs are all you get. Oh well, I got the gist after a bit of googling!

Geez, what's up with the aggression?

German dubs usually carelessly dub everything ... so if the original track has a mix of englisch, japanese and other languages, they will all just be german for the dub. Pretty common for german and for people that like that, there's no problem.
But the original language for Death Machine is not just english, so if there are no subs at all, you will miss all of those bits that are not in english. Makes sense, yes? That is the problem.
