Might get this one when it drops in price, depending on how the overall UHD discs are. But definitely do plan to upgrade this one later.

Read the report again. It says that titles including Man of Steel and Pacific Rim will be released throughout the year, and that by the end of 2016 there will have been a total of 35 titles released.

For all we know, Man of Steel and Pacific Rim could be the first of these further 31 titles being released during 2016, in addition to the initial four.

You're probably right, this may be released a week or two before 25th March.

UHD Blu-ray should use Dolby Vision as well then.

Back in November, Warner released a lot more on Vudu. With Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. 21 titles in total. I am sure these are part of the 35 titles Warner wants to release over the year 2016.

That would be one logical window. The other window would be when Batman v Superman hits video over the summer.

One thing I'm interested in with Man of Steel is how the colours and hues of the film might be affected by the expanded colour gamut and high dynamic range of UHD Blu-Ray.

Man of Steel's been criticised for being a little drab and subdued, and so I'm wondered what subtleties might be revealed in this new mastering.

I hope so but I doubt it. The desaturation was done in post.

I was looking at some of the VFX Showreels for Man Of Steel and the shots weren't desaturated like the final film.
