Arrow's steelbook looks a lot nicer to me, but this looks pretty good too. Great extras included

HDN is selling an exclusive version of this that has some pretty nice slips, artcards and a challenge coin FYI. It's $49.99 + shipping but seeing as how this is $39.99 from Synapse, it seems like a pretty good option.

1 slip has sold out but they still have the other 2 in stock. You can find it under the Ninja Shop link

Is there a bullet point comparison between the Synapse and Arrow versions anywhere?

Looks like Synapse is claiming their release has more footage.... (and an audio CD).

Sweet. That would have made for a killer steelbook too, especially with the embossing

Use the drop down (next to quantity) on the order page and choose Dark Inker

Since the front and back of the Arrow are free of release info, the only thing preventing a clean swap is the Arrow logo and catalog number on the spine. I'm tempted to paint or cover those up, and case swap. Of course there's the 2 vs 3 disc thing. An alternate idea is to print up the inside spine image of the Arrow and place it underneath the Synapse spine.

More Argento is always welcomed, as is more Goblin in my music collection.

I bought the Arrow steelbook not too long ago, so it figures that a rerelease with a supposed better transfer comes out.

Is the HDN the same transfer/special features? It SOUNDS like Synapse spent some time on this one.
