If you are from the UK/Europe and wanted the Shout Factory releases but don't have a region A player then this region B set is for you. I paid just over £22 delivered (eBay).

Does this Australian Blu ray box set contain the correct disc for Fist Of Fury(Original Mandarin Mono Audio)? Also does Game Of Death Have the Japanese HD version on the Game Of Death Disc? thanks for the upload my friend.

First of Fury has the corrected disc, includes mono Mandarin and Cantonese.

Game of Death has the HD Japanese theatrical cut (Bonus Feature).

Game Of Death also includes what seems to be an even better quality version of the original footage montage (effectively the entire second half of the unfinished original film) than what was on either the old Game of Death DVD or the 2-disc Enter The Dragon DVD (not sure if it was ever included on any BD release of that one, perhaps on the first pressing)... so it's even more worthwhile for that inclusion.

No they haven't been colour corrected. The Game of Death caps above are from the Japanese theatrical cut which is true HD but not remastered.

The picture quality for all 4 films is exactly the same as the UK releases, Fortune Star supplied the masters for all Blu-ray releases to date.

Do you mean for Game of Death (Japanese theatrical cut)? If so yes it is true HD, just not cleaned/restored up so it has speckles. The regular version of the film is upscaled so not true HD.

no, I am talking about the 30-40 minutes footage of the unfinished original film. It's an extra on the disc, but I want to know if it's in HD or SD ?

If your not bothered about having the original artwork on the UK ones (reverse sleeves) go for these as they are identical to the Shout Factory releases. The UK Game of Death also has the HD version as a special feature.

Nah all good matey, the screenshots are a good indication of the quality. If the set came out in normal sized blu-ray packaging, i'd probably buy it.
