Step inside, we’ve been expecting you! At long-last, Arrow Video is proud to present the first two instalments of hit horror franchise House on Blu-ray for the first time!

In the original House, William Katt (Carrie) stars as Roger Cobb, a horror novelist struggling to pen his next bestseller. When he inherits his aunt’s creaky old mansion, Roger decides that he’s found the ideal place in which to get some writing done. Unfortunately, the house’s monstrous supernatural residents have other ideas…

Meanwhile, House II: The Second Story sees young Jesse (Arye Gross) moving into an old family mansion where his parents were mysteriously murdered years before. Plans for turning the place into a party pad are soon thwarted by the appearance of Jesse’s mummified great-great-grandfather, his mystical crystal skull and the zombie cowboy who’ll stop at nothing to lay his hands on it!

This was bound to happen but seeing this hint makes it sweeter. To the OP: Did Arrow post that artwork or is this something you added?

I wish I could've witnessed when it was first said the sub-title to the sequel should be "The Second Story." You know the person who came up with it was probably so excited like "Yes! Yes! We got it!"

These will be mine...oh yes, these will be mine.

They didn't post any of that artwork. People are working with that tiny Twitter post and what rights they seem to have and assuming they are hinting at House.

'Horror has found a new home' is the first film's tag-line though, and it wouldn't make much sense for Arrow to just arbitrarily post a random film tagline, especially when it also works as a hint that Arrow will be releasing it, with 'a new home' referring to the Arrow label itself. So I do think it's pretty concrete, as far as these kind of teases go.

It is? I've never seen that. I like how that poster has about three different taglines on it and none are that one. I agree that this is probably the first House movie based on the fact they almost definitely have the rights to it, but wanted that dude who said "wow, did they post that art?!" to know that they didn't.

Oh, OK. That explains the lack of enthusiasm . I guess folks are eager to be immortalized by being the first to post a breathless thread without checking the validity of the info. Still, this seems to be an almost no-brainer Arrow release anyway.

My trivial observation from reading Arrow's Twitter feed: After a decade, people still don't know how to spell "Blu-ray" .

Well theyve been able to license the key titles that Image is distributing, so it wouldnt surprise me at all if Arrow had House 1 and 2 prepped for Blu-ray release

Oh! I really hope there will be a US release for this one. Even though I have the limited edition DVD set,I could sure go for an upgrade.

@ Warner Bros., via the New Line Cinema catalog, I don't think they are in any rush to put this title out.

It's quite possible Arrow might be able to get The Horror Show and House IV for the UK and offer a 'complete' collection, given that there was a previous DVD collection released here.
