That's a great looking steel. I think it could look amazing in person if done properly.

The question actual is what didn't happen with the steel. Best thing is just read up on the pets thread.

Hopefully its not as limited as Fury. That totally disappeared after the first day.

Argh... That could be anyone ...could be Peter Parker for all I know running into the smoke. Come on man. I really can't believe that this going the thumbs up for final printing. If the cover art for the steelbook looks bad and it is not a necessity to buy it on day one, then I am skipping it. I hated the steelbook for Fury and the movie was so so ... I am pretty much going to skip the steelbook for Deepwater Horizon because it's blah.

It was a good movie, don't get me wrong but the steelbook cover art could be better. It would be better if it was a
[Show spoiler] shot of him carrying his fellow soldiers back to the edge of the cliff to bring them to safety.

Not a big fan of the cover. Looks like a poster with all the writing.

Regular 4K release for me.

Well, I mean, it was a poster. People want poster art for steelbooks and this is and still get complaints. Just can win

Also, I quite like the artwork. Really liked the poster when I saw it and thought it would look good as a steelbook / slip case.

Thought I haven't seen many of the other big Oscar contenders this year, this movie is without a doubt my favorite movie of the year. Truly one of the best war films ever made as well. I was considering breaking my " wait for sale if no special edition" rule on this movie before this news came up, so this is obviously a day one for me.

Well I produced the disc and I can tell you that the doc I produced for the film is 70 minutes, so hopefully between that and the steelbook packaging it'll feel like the special edition you want.

Good to hear! Press releases are so vague these days. A listed extra can run anywhere from a few minutes to well over an hour. Glad it's the latter in this case.

The art on the steelbook is great. Hopefully the price is fair as well.
