No bonus disc? Hopefully it's not another bare-bones double-dip stitch-up like Dark Of The Moon.

They held back the 3d for that one as well (and then proceeded to release a botched 3d version that they never fixed). So hopefully it is different this time and you get all the special features and all the films in the different formats as they should be.

Good to see 3d, normal blu-ray and uhd all announced and good to go.

Yeah, they did it properly with the last one so hopefully that's the case here. The behind-the-scenes stuff for all four so far have been quite interesting, primarily because I enjoy watching people blow things up

If these turn out to be the only special editions we get in Australia for UHD's I'm gonna be pissed.

God those VR editions are expensive for what amounts to little more than some cardboard and some lenses.

Out of curiosity, what exactly was botched about it? Nothing seemed unusual to me, one of the better early 3D releases based on my memory.

Around 40 minutes into it there is a massive brightness drop in the source that shouldn't be there and remains for the rest of the film.

Excellent BD transfer.. UHD is a BD-100 so that should be mindblowing too. Bonus disc includes a Combiner Wars animated movie (45 min) and a couple of other featurettes not on the regular US edition.

Picked up from BigW today for 35 which is the cheapest price I've seen. JB and Sanity want 40.

Ah right. Did you happen to notice if they had the 3D? They aren't advertising it, but they generally have the 3d of big releases.

I have noticed that the series of ALL Transformers Movies in 4K have been said they are DV but on the back of the cover they say Technicolor. What Gives?

Probably just a carryover from the old BD layouts, usually when those things are updated for a new format they just retroactively adjust the existing templates.
