MSPAR009s Newest Home Theater - Blu-ray Forum

I built this little HT with coziness in mind. I have a light cannon of a PJ, so "most" of the pitfalls of not having dedicated theater room have been overcome. Actually, to my surprise I was not expecting the picture to look so good. I am calibrating my equipment using CalMan 5 Home Theater Enthusiast with their C6 HDR200 meter.

*My goal is to learn more about calibration and the Science behind it.

If anyone can point me in the right direction of where to learn, that would be greatly appreciated. I've read through some of the posts on AVS forums for my PJ specifically but the forum threads are not organized and it's too much to read through.

No way, I watch classic movies and don't have the room now. The Sony sounds excellent. I've had $30K in HT sound invested in Sunfire and Electrostat Martin Logan's 5.1.

I also was an A/V salesman for Sound Advice a few years back so I know more the average guy (not an expert). I stand behind this Sony lol - it's a great. Anyway, nice HT

Nice simple high quality set up mspar009, welcome to the Galleries. As I always say, what ever you like in your room is the "right" choice for you. I checked and that's not a $80 dollar sound bar from WalMart. I bet in that small room it does its job very well.

I have a 5.1 Revel Performa 3s in my other HT room. Yes, this does come with a wireless sub. The dialogue on the Sony soundbar is top-notch and I used to own and sell really expensive HT equipment so I am not Joe Blow.

*Marc, what kind of PJ is that in your avatar photo?
