I will look into buying this, but I'd rather they announced other series that weren't already available from Mill Creek (not that I buy the Mill Creek releases) and other labels. If the next releases are Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Columbo and The Rockford Files, that could be slightly disappointing.
I would much rather Fabulous got the drop on the States and elsewhere when it came to more TV series announcements. As an example, for obvious reasons, I would buy The Equalizer from them in an instant. |

There are actually several small issues with the HD masters, but I doubt that this release will fix them (although I notice it has some of the missing extras).
- the zooming issue on "A Leap for Troian" - "Oswald" is missing some footage, which was included on the DVD; the issue is that the episode was a two-parter, and had to be cut down to be re-aired as two separate episodes. - "Trilogy, Part Three" is missing a lot of footage, which was not included on the DVD, because of a similar two-parter issue. The recut of the episode removes a lot of the resolution of the courtcase, including clarifying plotpoints about the overall "murder" plotline that covers the entire trilogy. - I believe there's also an episode where the leap out is green instead of blue, the one with the hurricane maybe? I don't remember the details on that one. (If anybody has a copy of the original two-parter "Return/Revenge of the Evil Leaper", I'd love to confirm whether that is missing footage or not.) What they *could* fix, if they wanted to, is to make the episode ending leaps match the next episode. |

Just had a look and it took Knight Rider around 9/10 months to go from £149.99 to around £72.99 which is the current price. Sounds good to me if QL follows suit. I look forwards to an end of year Quantum Leap marathon.
