No.

They were also measured before InstaWatch, Mobile D2D, and before Vudu was installed on every Smart TV and streaming device.
Neither Instawatch nor D2D increase electronic sales, since they are tied to physical media.

There's no way Vudu doesn't have a minimum of 10% of the transactional VOD market now.
When it comes to EST they are nowhere near that. They are a bit stronger in rentals though.

Amazon is high because Amazon Prime comes with free video streaming.
Prime Video subscription revenue doesn't go into the EST numbers.

1. You say no, but offer no source.
2. InstaWatch and D2D increase customer base, which should lead to more digital sales.
3. Again, you offer no recent source.
4. Again, there are no recent EST numbers, unless you have insider information.

Interesting, but I'd much rather see more studios join than another third rate provider.

Well MGM, Paramount, Lionsgate all have financial problems and are all basically for sale. It is going to be a while I believe before any of these studios join moviesanywhere. I wish they would but

MGM is a complete mess.

Lionsgate is looking for a buyer.

Paramount is teetering on bankruptcy and is hoping for a merger. Thankfully they are having a ok year at the box office this year.

It's nice to have microsoft, now we only need the playstation network.
I guess Steam is in play too.

In addition to Playstation Network, Verizon Fios, Comcast xFinity, and Redbox On Demand also sell digital movies.

MGM emerged from Bankruptcy several years ago.

That is true they are out of bankruptcy but MGM Holdings is a directionless mess and is looking to sell.

It's official, Microsoft is joining next: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/moviesanywhere

https://www.thurrott.com/music-video...-anywhere-last

X-Men: Days of Future Past will be the free movie for linking to MS. It says "Offer is available from August 6, 2018 through August 28, 2018", so it must be launching today.

Probably late tonight, possibly even Midnight on the East Coast, still making it August 6th on the West Coast.

Probably going to be proven wrong though, now that I've said it out loud.

If anybody wants "X-Men: Days of Future Past" in 4K, might want to purchase it on iTunes before connecting one's MA to Microsoft.

Eh, wouldn't you just be better off buying a Digital Copy code?

Heck, the Blu-Ray / DVD / Digital is only $4.99 right now.

One could if one wants to, but I was staying away from any "gray area" in my comments.

That's the "Rogue Cut" (also available in 4K on iTunes and FandangoNow) that's $4.99, not the Theatrical.

I've read that some older Fox codes have started losing the iTunes redemptions. The 2016 codes may still be good, but the 2014 releases probably aren't, so worth keeping in mind.

I don't see much use of this unless they give good deals.

4k is only on xbox, but so is vudu
all the windows devices have vudu app which already gives hdx playback with all the MA and UV movies.

the only devices that benefits from this are the arm windows devices that can't run vudu app (windows mobile phones and surface RT1 and 2), I bet no one uses those devices here.

Microsoft has a Rewards program, which you can trade points in for movies.

Personally, due to an accident last year, I have some Disney films in my Microsoft account that I don't have elsewhere, so I'm hoping those transfer over to my MA account after connecting my accounts. Sadly, a lot are in SD, but a few are HD.

One of the ways you can get significant Microsoft Rewards is by purchasing select films. I think they've got something right now with "Black Panther", which I own in MA. I'm curious if Microsoft Rewards will record the port as a purchase, or if it (most likely won't), but if so,

Also, more choices is great! I don't have Comcast, and most likely never will, nor would I most likely ever have the need for Kaleidescape, should it ever join, but I hope they get added too.

yeah, but my Microsoft rewards is for my xbox live and game purchases. Unless they have some outrages deals I'll keep my movie purchases on vudu and iTunes (4k upgrade free)

Different strokes for different folks.

BTW, Microsoft has taken the page down.

I connected to MS from the MA site. No issues, but no free movie yet either.

Actually, I don't see any movies on the MS page? Is there a specific link?

Does anyone have the free movie yet? I worry I linked accounts too soon.

I got it around 5 minutes after linking. In fact, I was actually just done unlinking it to try again when it showed up.
