  • New Ninja Weapons – Double swords. Be sure to try Burst, specially designed and prepared for Sigma's exclusive playable character, Rachel.
  • New Enemy Characters – Approximately 10 new Ninja Gaiden enemies have been added and with new, advanced AI they are more brutal and merciless than ever before.
  • New Skills and Attacks – Ryu can now perform a wider range of acrobatic ninja moves, including running over the surface of water.
  • SIXAXIS Functionality – Shake the controller to increase the power of your Ninpo magic and escape from the clutches of Sigma's particularly handsy enemies.

If for some reason you don't want to make a Japanese PS Store account it looks like it should be on the US Store later today!

Check this out:

Quote:
The demo's pretty amazing! It's the entire first level of the game and they give you pretty much every weapon at Level 3 (except for projectiles) and it really plays out nicely. They implemented SIXAXIS with Ninpo so when you shake the controller, you deal additional damage.

It's cool, you can unlock stuff by beating the demo. I just beat it once (ranked 5th world-wide! Malice_Mizer #5 326754!) and apparently there's Hard, Mission, and a Rachel level to play too!
Not your typical puny-sized demo. The demo also has English AND Japanese voice and text options!

Occasionally SCEE will release something first on the Euro stores, UK's your best bet. There's a Super Rub-a-Dub demo for example. Don't trust the reviews, try it!

You never actually have to confirm the email address you sign up with so you can just make something up. It's also autofilled into the sign-in fields, so you don't need to write down the address you made up.

Hopefully someone else can answer this because my HDTV's not fully up to the task. It's a 768p display, so 1080i downscaled may look slightly sharper. I'll try and check it out once I'm finished downloading. 76% ...
