I've finally made it to the last level on Crash 1 w/Dr. Neo Cortex and I can't beat it. I know what to do, but after I get his health meter down after hitting him w/green crystals, I always die when he goes crazy shootings, any suggestions?

Obviously, as he's rapid firing you need to move quickly but he should stop shooting purple shots by the time you get to the opposite side of the screen to where you started. Good luck! |

Finally got around to started my this tonight. Found an incredibly easy way to grind out 99 lives in around an hour or so, so I have plenty of lives. Good thing too because some of these levels are absolutley kicking my ass! It's hard as hell, but also really satisfying.

Recently 100% cleared Crash 2 on the PS1. It would be nice having the remaster on the PS4, but watching some game play on Youtube, it looks to nice and clean. I prefer the old look. I do keep an eye out on ebay and hopefully one day will pickup both Crash 1 & 3 for a decent price.

Sorry for the bump, but as I have gotten a PS4 and this for Xmas I have already:
104%'d Crash Bandicoot with a mix of Gold and Platinum relics and Stormy Accent. Aside the off kilter jumping, additional need for ultra precision, and time trials aside, I had no major frustrating issues with most levels and I have found the Hog Ride levels much easier than in the original PS1 version (I had just became aware of the weird % glitch for Stormy Accent, as for some reason the level had showed up after I defeated Cortex despite downloading it first, but oh well least I got gold on that). 102%'d Crash 2 with a Gold/Platinum relic mix (which I assume is correct). This one was easier than CB, but the jumping issue still proved a challenge with certain points and especially the time trials. Currently working on Warped and seems to be the most enjoyable and easiest of the bunch. Controls are a still slightly off, but hardly anything with Stormy Accent like clockwork jumps. Most of the time trials i'm finding slightly easier than in the PS1 version even if they're made for it. |

Reminds me that I still need to finish Warped. It seems to be a common occurrence with me that whenever I revisit a trilogy of games, I get burned out on the third one and never complete it. You're right about it being the easiest of the bunch, though.

Just finished Warped, 108% with Gold/Platinum relic mix and Future Tense (fun level if you know what to do). The vehicle levels, especially trying to even aim for Gold relic in them, were around 3x harder than in the PS1 version.
Hot Coco's relic was probably the hardest to get, plus the Nitro glitch that I see ppl pull off is extremely difficult to perform without directly hitting the nitro, so I did it the normal way with a 24.75 time for Gold (ironically, getting a Platinum on the PS1 version is far easier due to the higher times and Naughty Dog not being aware of alternate path methods). Despite the off kilter jumping and physics, I thoroughly enjoyed the remasters and appreciated the features they added (especially for Crash 1 with having the bonus levels count and not only accessible once, plus doing away with the requirement of not dying to get the standard Gems with the exception of the colored ones). Next is Spyro Reignited, which will most likely be a refreshing cake walk compared to this. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled sounds good and I dig that Nitros Oxide is playable, but slightly saddened that some of the other content annoucned will probably remain DLC only. I also wonder what the added Karts from Nitro Cart will be like since I had never played that one (as by that time I distanced myself from the franchise after Wrath Of Cortex due to the crappy portable games and couldn't stand the strange music in Twinsanity). I'll probably get Nitro-Fueled a bit after release, once I hear from reviews about any drastic gameplay changes/issues and how the controls are (I have Gran Tursimo and Mario Kart 64 in my blood, so it wouldn't be as much of a challenge to adapt as it would to a different feeling Crash 1).
