IIRC, the wooshing SFXs stop when he says "Oh" but they continue on the Atmos remix on the UHD.

What I’m looking forward to even more than new transfers, is the possibility of Sony finally releasing deleted scenes for the film as an extra. Sony has had a pattern lately of their reissues including never before seen deleted scenes (Karate Kid Reissue, Hook, My Best Friend’s Wedding, etc.) so hopefully the tradition continues on with Spider-Man.

It’s INSANE that I can go on Sony’s stock footage website and look at deleted bits from Spiderman 3. Why isn’t that on a disc?

The third film has an entire 3rd act that’s different and we’ve never seen any of it. Gwen was kidnapped instead of MJ. Which is why we see MJ in the trailer talking to Harry about “everything we are will mean nothing”. She convinced Harry to go help Spiderman battle Venom and Sand Man.

There’s so much cut from the 3rd movie.


And apparently Spiderman 2 has tonnes of deleted scenes. That production was a shit show I’ve heard. The 2.1 cut originally had or was supposed to have some action scene with Spiderman in or near a fountain. I have no context for anything else but a “fountain”. Sam Raimi talked about it in an interview when discussing the then upcoming extended cut. I was so pumped to see this fountain scene. 2.1 cut comes? No fountain scene.


And we know Spiderman 1 had cut scenes. A few showed up in the trailer. But I’d really love to see what they had with the web shooters. They should’ve left this in. Spidey has organic web but Peter makes a gauntlet that helps him control the webbing. Put it into certain shapes, certain speeds. When he first experiments with controlling webbing in his room, with the Dr. Pepper and lamp ? They erased the webshooter from his wrist digitally.

The OG trilogy is actually really damn good. Even the editor's cut of 3 I thought was good. Not quite up to the others, but the new cut very much made it decent.

I got this in some plastic case with three steels that are beautiful. They really hit the comic book style out of the park on the steels. I remember I even had to take it back to Best Buy because the one was so damaged. He let me mix and match in a new set thankfully. RIP Best Buy.

Just finished watching Spiderman 2 again, and what a film this is. Watched it for the first time when I was 13 at the cinema in 2004, and then again a few years ago. This was the first time in 4K. Loved it then, love it now.

In my opinion, the greatest superhero film ever made. Incredible.
