A) Grey goods

B) Inventory purchased for export. LG sells to exporters, their goods are not covered by LG USA

C) Inventory imported from Mexico or Canada are not covered by LG USA

2.) Refurbished TVs, only factory fresh class "A" goods are covered by LG's warranty.

3.) LG only warranties factory defects so damaged TV are not covered unless purchased through an authorized dealer. LG covers physically damaged goods through LG authorized dealers only.

4.) LG USA will not cover warranties on stolen goods.

5.) Authorized dealers have a relationship with the manufacturer and can help during and after your warranty expires.

We are factory direct authorized dealers and even I was approached by an importer to buy LG 4K OLED TVs below my actual net cost. Of course, any TVs purchased through any importer will not carry LG's USA warranty.

So the bottom line on buying through unauthorized sellers is that most of the time you get USA factory fresh class A goods and your warranty is good, but this is a big "Buyer Beware" warning when buying valuable and fragile goods over the Internet from well known unauthorized sellers with bad reputations.
I talked with LG customer support prior to buying the TV and you're spot on with what they said, factory defects only, no coverage on damage caused by transit. So I would strongly suggest anyone going this route, to inspect the TV before accepting the delivery.

I tipped the delivery guy to sit there for a bit while I looked for physical damage and then ran a dead/stuck pixel check. Once you accept the TV, the dealer is hands off.

In any case I got the TV I wanted and saved $500, wife is happy about that. The TV was pristine with a manufacture date of November 2016.

My god I put in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes 3D and it was incredible, most I've been impressed by a non 4K title.

I just finished it around that time, but yeah, I've been on a huge watching binge with my new TV. Averaging like 5 movies a day.

Dawn of the Apes 3D is like a 2 hour demo disc for gorgeous OLED blacks.

wow the petition for lower input lag on hdr game mode worked lol

Quote:
LG has officially released a new HDR Game Mode with reduced Input Lag for 2016 E6 and C6 OLEDs. They have yet to release an update for the G6 or B6 OLEDs. So far this appears to be available in the US only, with other regions in the coming weeks. For the E6/C6, the latest input lag results appear to be around ~35ms, which is quite an improvement from the 65ms prior to this update.

Improvement
1) To apply HDR Game Mode.

I find Cinema 3D mode applied on 2D contentgt o be very remarkable. You guys should give it a try with your favorite 2D titles. I also tried it on Netflix and it does a marvelous job, really close to what you get with original 3D content

I watched A Christmas Carol in 3-D last night. Wow. The 3-D looks absolutely amazing on this TV. Way better than it did on the F8500.

I find it a bit irritating that it doesn't show 24p during BD playback like my Sony did.

It is not impressive if yo uare looking for major 3D/pop-out effects, but it add a good anount of depth to 2D content and it also cleans up a lot of 'noise' in dark scenes, making everything appear smoother and more uniform

I think I'm having HDMI handshake issues after the update to 4.30.19(HDR game mode update). It seems to only occur when playing select 3D titles on my Xbox One S. Some titles it happened on were life of Pi 3D, Godzilla 3D, Tron Legacy 3D. No 2K or 4K titles seem to be affected.

Guardians 3D went straight to the language menu without a problem.

My C6P will say no input, but I take the hdmi cable out and put it back in and everything is good. Never had a problem before and the only change in my setup is the upgrade to 4.30.19.

reboot the tv and the player by unplugging them and see it that helps. If not try a new cable.

I've tried all of those already. I'm contacting LG technicians right now to see if they can replicate the problem.
