Weird - I'm trying to preorder, but no stores in Manhattan are available for pickup.

Neither has mine. I just ordered one for in-store pick up in case and took the digital download out of my cart so they don't charge me for the download code if I return it. I'm sure it will come in the mail but I want to cover myself just in case.

Edit: Finally updated. Says I'm not getting it until Wednesday. Set around waiting to be picked up from Saturday at noon until today at 5:14 p.m. and I had preordered this months ago.

Same thing happened to me recently with the Justice League New Frontier Steelbook. I tried to return the canceled copy to the store and they told me since it wasn't in the system they had no way to take it back. They told me that they appreciated my honesty and told me to keep it.

Wish this got the inside art that was leaked earlier, with Spidey in his debate jacket laying on his back. The one they went with is OK but bland. Could've been a perfect Steelbook if not for that.

I'm aware of the rule (thanks anyway!), this is different - it says I can preorder at other locations that are father way, but not any local ones.

I saw other people said maybe some BB's started "opening the gates" sooner for this one.

I have seen it happen in the past. A couple/few other stores show stock, and at that certain time of midnight/1:00 it is available everywhere.

Edit: I have a few fairly close to me now that say available, but not my closest ones.

I would hesistate to do an order then cancel it due to the extra digital copy. If you cancel it and re-order they will probably charge you for the digital anyway unless you can get a CSR to override for a re-purchase

I have a 24 hour store here, I was just going to get it at midnight, but I would've liked to preorder at that location anyway for the extra digital copy. Oh well.

got mine in the mail today in cardboard mailer, not the best steelbook ever especially with the cheap finish

mine already had a couple of minor paint chips, but arrived dent free and spine slash free so no complaints

This was probably mentioned already. Why is there not a 3D disc included, because Sony is involved and it's not straight up Marvel?
