I got mine in the mail today and it had the exact same thing you described. Even stranger, that line across the front extends on to the spine.

I placed an order online for shipping and it shipped already. We will see. It looked like a manufacturing error. I feel like it could be an issue for some, but I really hope I'm wrong.

Received my copy today via USPS and while as you mentioned the line going across the entire lower front horizontally was there. Moved the plastic around and couldn't really tell if it was the plastic wrap or the steel. Removed the plastic and it was only on the plastic - steel is in perfect shape

Hmmm.... maybe mine is the same. Maybe I'll give it a shot. I guess I'll have no problem exchanging it if it's not just the plastic.

Yep - false alarm. Thanks for your post. You saved me a trip to Best Buy today. That was pretty convincing on the plastic... I thought for sure at least the spine had a slash on it.

Mine, on the other hand, arrived bent like a banana. Cursed be Best Buy. May they go bankrupt during the next recession/depression.

This exclusive is pretty hard to get. Ordering it online is more hard (given that 80% chances you will get a dented / slashed edition)

Picked this up along with Spidey and both were mint so I am happy about that. Really like the nice gloss finish on this and Just League The New Frontier.

I need to find time to watch them all. I have every DC animated steelbook since the first one that Target released (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns) and to date that one is the only one I have sat down and watched.

I think I may have to have a binge session over the winter and finally watch them all.

You definitely need to sit down and watch them sometime before the Animated Series releases next year

I opened my steelbook on Sunday. It had a dent on the back. I was in no hurry to open it since my BB is sold out. I just have to live with another dented DC steelbook.
