I'm assuming "This decade" means films made from 2010 to 2020?

Top 30 Best (ordered by year) I've liked/loved so many films from this decade that it was really hard to pick just 30.
How to Train Your Dragon
Batman: Under the Red Hood
Captain America: The First Avenger
Kung Fu Panda 2
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Arthur Christmas
Life of Pi
ParaNorman
The Avengers
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
The Wind Rises
The Tale of The Princess Kaguya
Frozen
When Marnie Was There
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Guardians of the Galaxy
X-Men: Days of Future Past
Song of the Sea
The Revenant
Inside Out
Jurassic World
A Monster Calls
10 Cloverfield Lane
Zootopia
Deadpool
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Logan
War for the Planet of the Apes
Coco
The Breadwinner

Top 20 Worst (again, ordered by year) This one was pretty easy. I tend not to watch movies I hear are bad.
Animals United
The Last Airbender
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
War Horse
Green Lantern
The Thing (2011)
Battleship
Prometheus
The Dark Knight Rises
A Good Day to Die Hard
Walking with Dinosaurs
Man of Steel
Interstellar
Noah
Fant4stic
Alien: Covenant
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
X-Men: Apocalypse
Suicide Squad
Death Note (Netflix)

Because i pulled these movies from IMDB there might be movies that i missed because i didn't rate them. There's also tons of films i haven't seen yet that i should.

Also i felt like my list already had lot of filler so i cut it short.

1.True Grit
2.The Witch
3.Koe no Katachi
4.The Grand Budapest Hotel
5.Wolf Children
6.God Bless America
7.Tuntematon sotilas
8.In This Corner of the World
9.The Homesman
10.Zootopia
11.Calvary
12.12 Years a Slave
13.Kimi no Na wa
14.Tusk
15.Birdman
16.The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya
17.Shutter Island
18.It Comes at Night
19..Kick Ass
20..King's Speech
21.The Pirates! Band of Misfits
22.My Life As A Zucchini
23.Babysitter
24.Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!
25.Mad Max: Fury Road

Might do the worst list later. It's probably easier to make.

I have lost my detailed lists of films for every year (I have seen about 500 films from the 2010s I would guess) but working from memory and likely forgetting some:
  1. Killing Them Softly
  2. The Neon Demon
  3. The Counselor
  4. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
  5. Sicario
  6. The Wolf of Wall Street
  7. Hacksaw Ridge
  8. O.J.: Made in America
  9. The Killer Inside Me
  10. I Saw the Devil
  11. Black Swan
  12. Nocturnal Animals
  13. Den of Thieves
  14. Inherent Vice
  15. End of Watch
  16. Kill List
  17. Django Unchained
  18. Edge of Darkness
  19. Manchester by the Sea
  20. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
  21. Gone Girl
  22. The Killing of a Sacred Deer
  23. The Hunt
  24. The Master
  25. Killer Joe
  26. Patriots Day
  27. Dredd
  28. Nightcrawler
  29. The Social Network
  30. Spotlight

It's even harder to remember most bad films, but here is an attempt. The obvious caveat is that I try to avoid films I know I would hate so while the above list probably is the films I would like the most if I saw every film from the decade, the below list is not. For instance, I know that Jack & Jill is the worst film ever, and thus would head this list, but I have never seen it. Order is from very worst (#1) to "least worst" (#20).
  1. Guardians of the Galaxy
  2. The Shape of Water
  3. Captain America: Civil War
  4. The Hunger Games
  5. The Lone Ranger
  6. Thor: The Dark World
  7. Thor: Ragnarok
  8. Thor
  9. 50 Shades of Grey
  10. Man of Steel
  11. Iron Man 3
  12. The Great Gatsby
  13. Transformers: Dark of the Moon
  14. Arrival
  15. The Host
  16. The Hangover 3
  17. A Good Day To Die Hard
  18. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
  19. Pacific Rim
  20. Dinner For Schmucks

I will add a Dishonourable Mention for This Is The End as it is the only film I ever walked out of. This was because it was too blasphemous for me, though, not because I hated it for aesthetic reasons like the above films. In fact the beginning part was pretty awesome.

Did this post get so many likes because you guys thought it was ironic or did you truly believe that: Civil War, The Hunger Games, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Catching Fire were some of the worst films to come out this decade?

I see a lot of people posting movies ranging from good to mediocre in the "worst" category... like... there are so many worse films out there. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but yikes... watch more movies maybe.

I think most of us try to avoid bad movies, nothing wrong with that IMO.

Hahaha I have been on these boards since 2011 my friend and have probably about 7,000 posts (I don't know how to find post count total anymore) so I am far from being ironic or trolling.

I am simply stating my opinion and, yeah, I honestly do think that. Yes, I am pretty stupid for continuing to allow myself to get dragged to MCU films long after I realized it was a cancerous franchise, but I have reformed myself as of 2016, although that didn't stop me from getting dragged to Ragnarok.

And yes the Hunger Games franchise I also find to be shit, far worse than the Twilight franchise which is not exactly good either.

Hahaha this is beyond obtuse.

These "good to mediocre" films are films, and thus subject to people's opinions, and thus what you may find "good to mediocre," they may find terrible or horrible. It goes both ways, too; many people dislike my own #2 and #3 films (The Neon Demon and The Counselor, respectively, although the order of those two could change at any time) and yet I love them, and yet they appear on many "20 worst" lists, and moreover I am also seeing Batman V Superman on a lot of "20 worst" lists, when it is in fact arguably the best capeshit film, and certainly far better than any MCU film.

Moreover, the above paragraph is itself peripheral, because everyone on this board is a PERSON, a HUMAN BEING, and not a "movie-watching computer," i.e., we have lives outside of watching films, and so have SKILLS at watching films they will probably like, and NOT WATCHING films they will probably dislike. This fact is in fact noted in many people's posts, including my own, but you evidently did not see that. I'm not even clear what you mean by "watch more movies," do you mean "watch more movies you will know you will hate" ? because that is asinine. As I said, I know I would hate Jack & Jill more than any film in the world, and could probably load up my bottom 20 with Sandler flicks, but why would I do that? That would be idiotic of me, I have only 24 hours per day, and I would rather do things that watch films I know I would hate.

That being said, I used to be worse at avoiding films I know I would hate (for instance, why the hell would I have seen The Host? I don't know, but it's not like it was a shock it sucked. Why did I watch Hunger Games and MCU films (and more broadly, capeshit films) long after I realized they were not for me? I don't know.) hence the somewhat front-loaded list of my bottom 20.

Moreover, I suspect that even if I saw every film from 2010-2018 (all 100,000 or so of them - yes, there are more than you think) I suspect my bottom 5 or so would still be on the bottom 20 list. Yes, I really motherf**king hated Guardians of the Galaxy, far more than the worst of other MCU films - it's rare for a film to have no redeeming factors at all, but it pulled it off somehow).

~

tl;dr: Try harder next time you want to call me a troll or an irony manufacturer.
