Man it's so insane to see these prices on amiibo after being around during the beginning. I never thought they would go back to being so sought after.

If you're into the Animal crossing ones, toys R Us is having a "buy 1 get 2 free" animal crossing amiibo, including Tom. $7.99 gets you 3 of them.

So when I started out collecting amiibo, I promised myself that I wouldn't let it get out of hand like I did with Disney Infinity (I have all 120 of them) and that I'd stick to only the Zelda related ones. And so far I have, with the exception of the retro ones which I posted a picture of in a previous post (I forget which thread though). But I just decided to pull the trigger on the 3 Mario Odyssey amiibo. I fugured since I'm getting the game, I might as well.... BUT it ends there! That was an exception. The 6 retro amiibo, the 3 Odyssey amiibo, and the rest all zelda related.

I started out saying "Just the Legend of Zelda ones" as well.
My next one was Shulk because of Xenoblade on the 3DS
My next was Toad because of the Captain Toad game.
The before StarFox Zero came out, I was like, ok, I'll grab those two as well.
Then they released Glow-in-the-Dark Boo. I had to have that one. I'm a sucker for Glow-in-the-Dark...
Then all the Animal Crossing ones went on sale. And I love the animal crossing games. I only have 3 cards, but all the figures, I also grabbed Villager because reasons...
I grabbed a few others, characters I like...
Then recently decided, F it... I'm gonna get them all.
I'm only missing a handful now. Not counting all the pre-orders...

In February of 2015 when Sheik first launched, I was unable to acquire one for myself. And I said to myself that I would not pay scalper prices. I waited and waited and a re-stock of a significant amount never happened. I tried importing from other countries, I was even told by some that they had Sheik in stock at normal retail price, only to have my order cancelled later on. I tried so hard and got so frustrated, that I broke down and opened my wallet and finally paid a scalper. Luckily this was only $29.00 and not some of the more outrageous prices I've seen for it. I am both disgusted with myself for paying $29.00 for a $12.99 item, and also happy that I finally have it in my possession.

Toys R Us has had exclusive restocks before but this one never even sold out yet so you can't even make that argument ha ha.

Great, they look awesome. I got a notice that my two BOTW girls shipped from walmart, which was nice since I found a Guardian and a MM Link in Best Buy the day before. They had literally dozens of MM Link, so I must have a low collector area or they just got a truck in.

The only other one I really want is TP Link but I'm not about to go store hopping to try and find one. I got the TP Zelda figma so that will do.

My Mipha and Urbosa arrived today. Walmart shopped them in the rattiest box they could find, though.

I went to the doctors today for a general checkup and I had to give blood work. So to treat myself I got these at Best Buy. The 3DS game was on sale for only $10 (using GCU).



I’m a little disappointed they didn’t have Meta Knight though.

That's a lot of Lotties. I think Goodwill is going to have a hard time sellling them.
